549 for the 980 is not bad. Wonder how much my 780 is worth now lol.
$350 for aftermarket is respectable.
Just please OC without bullshit limits at least 25%
Dunno if I can be arsed to swap from a 290
Just depends how delayed next chips will be ZzzzI'm also considering swapping, waiting on reviews to see if it's worth it.
Right now I'm leaning towards waiting for Nvidia (or AMD) to go jumbo with >550mm chips.
You aren't missing anything he's talking about AO zzzzzzzzzzStream crapping out as he is trying to talk about voxels.
Look at the size of the balls

Thanks Captain Darkwing DuckJizz and now Balls.
I feel like alot of whats being shown is lost on that crowd feels like this should of been held for a more techy friendly arena.
Our gaming results in this evaluation are quite positive in terms of overall performance. Remember, MSRP on GTX 780 Ti was $699 at launch, and GTX 980 is $549. In every game we experienced today, GeForce GTX 980 was faster than GeForce GTX 780 Ti and XFX Radeon R9 290X. Sometimes there were large up to 20% performance advantages, other times it was smaller under 10% performance advantages. We overall saw a higher performance advantage over Radeon R9 290X than we did with GTX 780 Ti. GTX 980 is certainly faster in every respect to the Radeon R9 290X.
It's a cool tech, for sure.the VXGI combined image is pretty fantastic looking.
This is pretty interesting, whatever the crowd think.
