It's not cheating, since you can still lose. It's more of an odds exploit than anything

Minotauro said:Well, I think betting everything and then reloading if you lose could probably be classified as cheating. I never had to do this though...I just started out betting $10,000 each time. After a few early wins, there was no looking back.

If you're talking about the Dating side quest, please explain/spoil. Otherwise, like if it has to do with a mission that I'll eventually encounter, nevermind.WasabiKing said:That won't matter much once you get with Katie or Barbara. After that, you'll never lose your weapons.

How do I even meet them?WasabiKing said:Yeah, it's a side quest. For the most part, the dating is useless. Get to 50%, you get to use their car, get to 100%, get a special costume. 2 of the 6 gals you can date are involved with the storyline. The two that I'm talking about, Katie Zhan and Barbara are useful because if you die (Katie) or get arrested (Barbara), you can get your weapons back. They're bonus sidequests, and you don't even need to take them in as dates, just meet them and you get those special attributes.
Eminem said:christorama i just spent the last two and a half hours doing all the shitty quarry missions. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. Completely worthless. The reward is more of a slap in the face. Jesus fuck did that piss me off. The last mission is the worst thing I've ever played in this game. So goddamn frustrating. It's even worse than Supply Lines.

Because the vehicles constantly spawn at the same location and they tend to be rare. ie,belgurdo said:Yeah, most of the asset missions seem to either pointless and boring (valet parking...ugh) or stupidly hard to appease the "hardcore" fans who blew through VC. They should have retooled them to make them more interesting and integral to the plot, and with less bullshit involved. And I still have no idea why R* thought it would be a good idea to force people to do perfect runs at the vehicle schools to obtain vehicles you can already find on the street

Oops heheh, thanks. Only opened the manual once I think.SolidSnakex said:The song names/bands are in the manual.

How high do I need to get the meter before Millie sleeps with you and hands over the keycard? 50%? 100%?
Oh also, can the girls ever dump you? Or does it just bottom out at 1% or something? I want to finish this up at some point but I just don't have the patience to sit around and wait for Denise to appear so I can take her out. Knowing that I can safely ignore her calls would really help -- I've totally avoided Los Santos purely because I don't want my meter to slip even further.

AssMan said:Did anyone use stealth for the area 69 mission? I said the hell with it and started to snipe people from the guard tower.
Also, what is everyone's favorite plane?
Socreges said:How come they included the option in early missions to skip the 'Trips' (ie, useless rides to where the true mission begins), but it hasn't been used since? Maybe there are several that I completed on the first try that could have been skipped otherwise, but some I've failed initially and had to do the useless shit all over again, w/o the option of skipping it. Doesn't make any sense.
Nope.Oni Jazar said:Are you reloading after failing the mission? That might be why you're not getting the skip trip option.
WasabiKing said:Pileups in the Las Venturas freeways rock, haha. I've seen cars flip end over end. It's great when youto cause mayhem...ride your jetpack over there
calder said:Yeah, pileups are great, and one thing I love about SA is how that shit happens now without any input from you. Seeing cops chasing other maniacs and gunning them down while innocent ol' me stands there is a great new addition to the immersion of the game, as is seeing accidents and fights randomly break out.
There's that one highway that leads west from your airstrip where ALL the vehicles are doing mach 3. I was on a chopper and I was *barely* keeping pace with the vans and rigs on that road, it was insane how fast they go on that strip. It's almost impossible to jack a vehicle there, but while trying I saw a semi rear end a Pony van and that thing was punted over another van coming the other way at least 100ft in the air with probably 3 full flips. :lol
I never eat. It's a waste of my time. I personally don't like that aspect of the game, though that's fine that they included it for those of you that might. But I've actually died before from starvation, which was weird. I was driving at the time, so CJ bailed from the car and died. Apparently he was so hungry that he became delusional. And I rarely use hand-to-hand combat, so muscle isn't important to me. Especially since working out is in itself pretty unfun. So, my character is a puny little thing. The few times that I have gotten into fights were fucking marathons.kevm3 said:I foudn the solution to the skinny problem on the gamefaqs message board after searching through around 20 pages of topics... Phew. It took me hours to do it... YOu have to keep on eating, preferably salads so you don't gain fat. Eat like 7 salads a day, then wait another day, eat 7 more salads. Repeat over and over and over until you're able to work out in the gym. Apparently, the game tracks how long you've not eaten and thus your energy level, and if you've skipped eating regularly, it builds up. I neglected eating damn near the whole game, so it took me around 20 or so days of eating salad after salad to get back to the proper level to work out in the gym again.
