It didn't look too bad and it actually looked fun. It adds the random element of chance to normal chess, so that a person having an advantage isn't as clear like regular chess, by there being a 50/50 chance of a piece occupying a specific space.

Edit: This video was amazing by itself but I actually came out of it wanting to play this version of chess.
