1. Heidi (his wife) asked for an open relationship, along with supporting and pushing him to sext and do other thing

3. Heidi ramps up abuse and controlling behavior even as she dates other men
4. He started dating Holly (wife of one of his coworkers) during the open relationship
5. Heidi got jealous of Holly

Great. I was never a big fan of ProJared but I sometimes watched some of his vids. When that story came out I didn't find it to to be as bad as the mob made it sound, and then the entire thing just escaped my mind. Looks like Jared has receipts for basically everything he was accused of. I like that he took the time to talk to people, gather evidence to do one big cohesive statement that essentially disproves all of the odd behavior he was accused of.
Also, no, I don't think exchanging nudes with randoms is something that is morally reprehensive. What I do think, however, is that sharing nudes that clearly weren't meant to be public in a public space such as this very forum is reprehensive. Much more reprehensive than anything Jared seems to have done.

Now that the receipts for anything actually damning have come out in his favor people (on Era and the like) are retreating to the "power imbalance" line. Jared even bent the knee on this issue but I dont see it at all. If he wasn't holding anything over them (favors, access, stardom,etc), if he wasn't being predatory, if this is just consenting adults exchanging nudes... what's the issue?
He has power over people because they watch his content, like it, and think he's a cool guy for making content they like? Can a rock star not fuck their groupies? Can a rapper not fuck their fans? Are we supposed to believe that the allure of Z-list youtube gaming celebrity is stripping adult men and women of their decision making abilities?
How far does the power imbalance argument go? If you're smarter than someone is that not a power imbalance? Can you only date people within your IQ range? This case is a good example of sugarcoating these things with nice words and open relationships being more hurtful than anything else in the long run.

Having seen the vid, basically he brings some solid receipts, combined with the receipts holly provided he seems to have vindicated himself from the biggest accusations. He is not a pedo, that part was a made up by two lunatics. He has some solid proof there.
He is probably not an adulterer either, he did not cheat on his wife, and he did not cheat with holly behind Ross's back either. His wife refused to allow him to divorce her, she also allowed an open relationship. She dished out some serious threats on the divorce topic which she eventually acted upon so he's got his lawyers on that, and Ross had abandoned holly long before she started bumping uglies with Jarod.
So in the end he (and Holly) was buried by nothing burger accusations, a psycho waifu and her posse of internet knights.
The smaller aspect (him sharing dick pics) was true, but it was done between consenting adults, and his wife approved. So he is still a creep and a furry but so is everyone involved. Still, I hope he has learned his lesson. I wonder if he still deems himself a femtard and social justice proponent. I'd like to think not.

She has repeatedly lied about what really went down all in an effort to demonize Jared and engaged in some scummy behavior herself which makes her a massive hypocrite. Not to say I think Jared is blameless in all of this. Sharing nude photos of himself online with fans was really stupid on his part.
The only person I actually feel some sympathy for is Holly, whom I met years ago at the Asia Pop Comic Con. You couldn't find a more nicer and sweeter lady that day and it was such a nice gesture on her part to take a photo with me. It also really makes me sad that people are calling her ugly compared to Heidi, as she is very attractive in person and I'm not ashamed to say that I did have a crush on her.
That said, I'm not excusing her part in this in any way. She deserves some of the blame for how all of this went down. And I'm not a fan of how she's fishing for sympathy online and deflecting blame. She really should have followed Jared's example and stayed quiet through the worst of it. But I do hope once this whole drama dies down she gets a measure of peace. No one deserves to become a target of an outrage group online.
