Ratchet and clank, is the truly nextgen game bar none, not cyberpunk, not metro exodus enhanced not any maybe demon souls. Because its simply breathtaking and using nextgen features that none of the other games have
1.instant level streaming like never before, no game out there can do this magic, streaming a whole game world in a flash. Wish i could drop a gif
2. Strand hair rendering, like fifa 21, miles morales ps5 the hair on characters in ratchet are fully strand based not cards/ alpha textures this is fully cgi material
3. Polygons, so much polygons weve all seen unreal 5 demo, demon souls and alot of talk about ps5s polygon computing capabilities, not sure the geometry engine is on use in this game but they are throwing more polygons per scene than any game out there besides demon souls, from characters and environments i havent seen any sharp edges everything is round, you dont see this in any game, even the stuff you might overlook and doesnt need alot of poly count is round in this game its a phenomenal work from insomniac.

You dont see this in any game out there and i think people overlook this quality in ratchet and clank rift apart. This shows nextgen games are now almost immune to poly counts i expect more next gen games to have such geometry complexity, such a quality production from insomniac im a big fan now and this is why ill buy a ps5 and its why nextgeneration consoles are made for, its not just about more pixels, more frames per second and raytraced puddels its the quality of the production its about new features that artists couldnt do before, streaming worlds in a flash, cgi quality poly counts, cgi quality animations and expressions, density of the worlds. New Controller haptic feedback features, its games like this with the fresh new overall experience that shows why the PS5 is a nextgen console.
