This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
The lack of optical-out has to be a space-saving measure. If Neo doesn't have it I will lose my shit (i.e. be sad).
But I know it's going away in general... FireTV 1 had it, but the 2nd got rid of it for no apparent reason. I mean it's virtually the same device.

In the UK 4K good tv's can be bought for very reasonable prices.

Here a summary.
- A Foxconn worker post a drawing of new PS4 model back in June, fit the description of slim.
- been production over 3 month.
- recently start mass producing another PS4 model, similar design, 3cm thicker than original, very heavy.
- a veteran worker say new PSP like device in production.
There are various Vizio, Panasonic and Samsung models that meet this specification, some for less than that.
Yea, plus Andrew House implied that a NEO launch date closer to the day of its official reveal, Apple-style.
I feel more hopeful, regarding a 2016 launch for NEO.

I think it will. Sony will keep a similar design language among the PS4 family of devices, so they'll all have the slanted stack look. I imagine Neo will have a nicer finish at the very least.

Now that it's 99% true, I kinda like the design. But a small part of me wishes this turned out to be fake, just to see the leak game getting even better.

Similar design to PS4 Slim, slightly larger than current PS4, higher quality materials and finishes is a very likely scenario.

PS3 was 11 lbs. But yeah, i dont see why the Neo would be that much heavier than the PS4, we will see though.
They are not flying out press to a 1 hour long live stream about the PS4 slim. The event is for the Neo, 99.99%

Well, it's smaller. Not by as much as I was expecting.
Vizio is a very popular brand and make some very good quality TVs. Unless you are thinking of Vizio from like 7 years ago that first got into the market with lower end displays.
People who don't think there will be HDR10 capable 4K tv's for cheap this holiday are nutzo.

Those will probably be crappy models without HDR, or models that might have compatibility issues. I wouldn't touch a Black Friday deal on a 4k set this year.
There will 100% be HDR 4K tv's on sale for Black Friday.

GAF I think I may be starting to see things in the slim pictures.
I cropped the side view image that seems to show the square, triangle, circle and X symbols but my eyes see a optical port in the square and possibly another port in the circle!

I think it only made sense to release this cheaper $250 slim around the same time as a way of mitigating the negativity around the neo and justifying its probably much better specs. Good move by Sony, they'll probably kill it these holidays.
