Sheesh, I think I'm just going to sell my GCN collection and retire. I haven't looked stuff up on eBay in a while. Impressive. I checked out the gold LoZ because it was mentioned above (mine is boxed away) and was reminded just how gorgeous those cartridges are.

I have some kind of factory-sealed premium edition of Dragon Age: Origins on X360 that comes in a wooden box (like a cigar box). I think it’s an Asia-Pacific version. Everytime I try to look it up, I can find no listings on Ebay for some reason. So I have no idea of it’s value. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I will have to dig up a picture on my PC because I have it in storage right now, but I have a copy of Thrill Kill (final retail PS1) that they canceled before they shipped them out to retailers.

Not as rare but I still have a sealed copy of Psychonauts for the Xbox 360 as well.

But that's about it, I kick myself for the over 30 years of gaming, and all the stuff I had that I got rid of in my youth.

And even i am moderately surprised
sadly now sold but my rarest game was Osman/Cannon Dancer PCB.

Sold and now gone, i'm down to the bare embers of my collection. I have some Ltd editions (mainly SHMUPS) but they're all getting sold off too.

so soon I will have nothing of any note in terms of rarity.

I had several super nintendo games like Super Mario World 3 that I kept somewhere in my house. I don't know where they are -_-. Other than those, the only rare games in my possession are Brave Fencer Musashi for the PSX and Pokemon Yellow / Gold for the GameBoy Color.

Its says “Made in Singapore” on the back of the sleeve, but it has a British PEGI rating. Probably what they use in Singapore.

Its such pretty this edition. the value in this condition i considered that will be 280$ at least... that pretty much.

I have a copy of Thrill Kill (final retail PS1) that they canceled before they shipped them out to retailers.

Didn't they rework that game into a Wu Tang Clan brawler? I think I remember reading about it somewhere.. or maybe I'm just trippin.

Yes, you are correct they used the engine for that as well as the X-Men: Mutant Chronicles games. I think there was another one or two games as well.

Now while my copy of Thrill Kill doesn't come directly from Virgin Interactive and is considered a bootleg, but those that finished it up to final retail code did get them printed out, so it looks as legit as any retail copy, from the case art to the disc stamping.

Ok, I knew I wasn't making that up haha. You know what this means, you have to get that Wu-Tang game to keep as a companion piece to Thrill Kill. Your collection is nothing without it.

I have a nice retro collection and here are a few of my best. Just got Snatcher for sega cd which has been a top target for a long time(just need a manual). Some are complete in box; others like the mega man games have custom cases. Love them all!

Excellent choice!!!

That Castlevania Dracula X is too rare to find in this condition.!!

I would assume F-Zero Climax would be my rarest game. Its rivals for that title would probably be VB Wario Land and Knuckles Chaotix. Due to Japan-only release of low quantity, I assume F-Zero Climax is the "winner" here though.

Did you happened to save the boxes as a kid? Or did you bought the games in that condition?

Im 37 and had a ton of games as a kid. Unfortunetly my parents gave them away when I was older. The quest to recollect them all started around 5 years ago. So its become an expensive hobby.....

I got The Last of Us Asian Collector's Edition still sealed in original factory shrink wrapper. Very rare might be only 500 ever produced.

I've got a ton and I'm too lazy to look so off the top of my head:

Paper Mario (boxed)
Super Mario RPG with manual
Conker's Bad Fur Day (boxed)
Harvest Moon 64 (boxed)
Grim Fandango original and signed by Tim Schafer
Final Fantasy VII PC boxed

I know I have some other gems I'm missing but that's all I can think of.

Not too many super rare ones here.

I have a rare Arcade board called "Head Panic" which is one of MANY Snow Bros. rip offs.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I have a MINT condition cartridge of Clay Fighters Sculptor's Cut for the N64. It originally was a Blockbuster rental exclusive, but I found a copy that had no label peel and no sticker residue which is almost unheard of. The guy I bought it from used to be a manager at Blockbuster and he said corporate sent his store two copies and he only ever put one "in circulation" and kept the other behind the counter - mostly because nobody in our small town was renting Clay Fighter so he didn't see a need to put stickers on it and put it on the shelf.

Not too long after, Blockbuster corporate told him to clearance or junk the N64 section, and he "bought" the mint copy off the store. A few years later, I bought it off him kind of as a novelty - this was back when the game wasn't really worth much.

I know there were originally 20,000 copies of the game made - but I have to wonder sometimes how many are still in existence / collector's circles. Searching on eBay leads me to believe it's worth a couple hundred dollars. I'll try and snap some pics of it when I get the chance.

No.

Because most of my games aren't with me.

Also I don't even know what my rarest game is anymore, but I have several that are collectible and valuable.

I have a handful of rare stuff.

Even more so, I see tons of super rare stuff come through the game store I occasionally work at

Most recent was an unknown copy of Stadium Events that guy had in his attic since he was a child.

There was also a crazy haul just last week that included CIB DuckTales 2, CIB MegaMan X 1/2/3, CIB Ninja Garden Trilogy, and like 10 others. Even cooler was he had an XRGB mini with super high quality scart cables and a GSCARTSW switcher.
