hmm i zoomed the screen shots in even though they would look bad but i notice you can see the charecters muscle structure >.>, like the one were zafina is hitting jack it looks like her arm is popping out.

thank you for the first screens, duckroll.

what a pitty that they're quite disappointing ;_; I expected a little bit more to be honest.

I think T6 looks fantastic, but I do think it does look early 4 characters and 2 stages. I mean the stages look really empty at this point, and in the vid it looked like they were in full production. I mean take that stage with the tank. Add some background characters, some smoke effects, maybe a chopper of jet flying above and it'll be really nice looking.

Anyway looking like 2k7 is the year of the fighter!!!

Does it even matter how much SH: The Arcade sucks? We'll never get it over here, so what's the difference? Still, I'd play it if I could, no matter how bad it was.

Somewhere along the way Konami forgot that Silent Hill was a horror game, and must have just thought it was a horrible game. In which case these screen nail it! :lol

theres always ports>.>

Silent Hill is dead. Deal with it.

About Tekken 6 and VF 5, I still have to receive the last one, but yes, I think we are not yet in next-gen status. At this point we should have much more spectacular and dynamic scenarios and developers should work much more in animation and physics.

I enjoyed DOA 4, I am sure I will enjoy VF 5 and Tekken 6 whenever it comes, but I think there is space for a bigger technological jump.

Judging by the character models Team Silents involvment was probably nil. They make some of the most realistic, well proportioned, human character models in the business (I really should say the make the most), and they bear no relation to these generic Dead Rising level characters.

This could make for a fun Wii game if they can think of some unique ways to use the motion sensing in the Wiimote.

Hmmm, I think it looks good but need to see a high res trailer before I can tell, in the youtube vid it could have been t5 DR almost. I used to be such a huge Teken fan, but Im not really into the fighting game genre anymore, so I will wait and see. I wish they would introduce 3d movement ala powerstone though

peace

Ive been a fan since Tekken 1 and i can honestly say that i almost cried during that video. And not because of its greatness...

Horrible graphics and the animations are straight from T5. Same can be said about the effects. Little alone the stages.

Well i obviously expected too much from Namco. I thought T6 would be a significant leap from PS2-ware and chance a lot of this in Tekken. This shit looks more like Tekken 5.5

Nothing can hurt me after this though :)

Another shot of zafina...

A damn HD video of that quality would be appreciated Namco/Bandai, make it happen!

TEKKEN SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIX!!!!!!!

Anyone know what fighting styles the 2 new characters are using? I saw some of Akira's moves on Leo
, who is a GIRL, goddamnit.

We do not need Gantayat (or what the hell the correct spelling is) to tell us that!

Its like hurricane Catrina AND the Tsunami in same day.

Game developers must have become low-polygon zombies them selves for being so Jack...

Tekken 6 looks good enough, I guess, but yeah I agree it's not exactly mind-melting. Still, considering the state of 3d fighting games, you gotta take what you can get these days.

Couple other things:

- Tekken hasn't had meaningful character additions since T3, imo, and T6's newbies don't look to be changing that trend.

- Jack's armor additions = costume customization?

- Brian's shotgun = wtf?

- dev kits = PS3? = quick porting?

I dunno... dragonov, Feng Wei, lili, and raven (if you get used to his more advanced moves), are all quite nice additions imho. Each with their own style, pros/cons.

- Jack's armor additions = costume customization?
Seems so, that was in the last tekken though wasnt it, so it wouldnt be a huge surprise. But it does look more specific/detailed this time in the trailer.

- Brian's shotgun = wtf?
Oh I know... :lol I hope its not actually usable. And btw, its *cough* Bryan. ;) I get it confused some times too, no biggie.

- dev kits = PS3? = quick porting?
I would assume they are developing both at the same time. Console versions usually have more stuff so I guess thats why the PS3 version is coming a little later.

wow this straight killed me :lol :lol :lol

T6 looks promising. The tourney scene is going to be great :)

I said BARF @ SH The Arcade.

And now I know what Tekken 6 reminds me of. DMC4! Seriously, something about the skin shaders and Leo's outfit that makes me think of it. The character models are also reminiscent of the ones in Genji - pretty sad that two action games with multiple characters on the screen look better than a vs. fighting game. 1080p curse?

I don't see the problem with SH: Arcade.
It's just a little arcade excursion, has nothing to do with the main series, and SH5 won't have anything to do with.
It doesn't take anything away from the SH name, imo.
