Not sure how I'd feel about that on second thought. Versus looked like a nice sort of complimentary/spinoff title to me with the KH like gameplay, but as a mainline FF? But, I guess it's possible that the game could have been changed up a bit if that decision were made.

Is that actually his account? It's almost entirely in English, which is very common for Japanese designers. And those specific images were posted before the first Dark Souls 2 screens were shown.

Well one would be an exclusive built for either the PS3 or PS4 (possibly vita). The other is a multi-platform game. They have their similarities, but there are obvious differences between the 2. I can see this being no different than a 1st party shooter coming out the same time as a 3rd party shooter.

I see but I believe if they would every do that they should space them out to not have to much fatigue imo
Sony owns the Demon's Souls IP. As such, Sony could have one of its first party devs (SCE Japan Studio, for example) make Demon's Souls 2 exclusively for the PS4.

Those pics look like armor/characters you'd see in a Souls game. Add the Demon's 2 rumor and Miyazaki not working on Dark Souls 2 and voila.

Guys I can't see anything except some armour. How does that hint to Demons Souls 2. Seriously I have always vastly preferred Demons souls over dark souls, its my favourite game this gen, but DS2 was always a pipe dream.

I can't imagine Sony letting such a popular IP rot.
Of course they don't want to step on Namco/From's toes, but releasing a Demon's Souls sequel on a platform where Dark Souls is absent, like PS4 or Vita could be very lucrative.
He is not working on Dark Souls II.
I think it's his post of PS4 developers list. He is not making Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 2 is current gen. He post a pic of PS4 developers list that listed From Software, so maybe he's making a PS4 game. That's what I think anyway. I don't get what those images meant too.
I am cognizant of that. I am just wondering whether he's just promoting the next gen version of the game nevertheless.
Of course, if it is Demon's Souls 2 then... nvm, GAF's servers can be trusted to remain crashed anyway on 10th.
