The steam product page is sort of lacking in telling me what exactly the game is. Sounds sort of like a Deus Ex type game with multiplayer.

Now, if we can only get The Crossing back in development.

Valve already baked the central idea of The Crossing into Left 4 Dead. Having enemy bosses in a co-op cmapaign be controlled by humans is basically the only selling point The Crossing had, but Valve actually made it work and got two games out.

which is basically the list of cd keys that will redeem on steam, so if a key isn't on there it won't work?

anyways, my main question is, if I buy a game on other digital services when they have a deal that is ON the list posted above (such as gamesgate, direct2drive, greenmangaming, origins) all those sites will provide a key somewhere when you purchase it right?

i don't want to ask if x game is redeemable on steam all time.

Generally yes, but there are some exceptions. Some of which are noted on the page itself. For example I got FEAR 2 Project Origin on GFWL and it will not register on Steam.
