Well it is definitely the problem. Figuered it out through elimination. When I set MJ to 360 oad it crashes when it's supposed to show controls, and the game won't detect any other pad. The keyboard controls suck, too.

High five, enjoyed the whole game throughout!
 
Yeah, I played a couple hours of Dungeon Siege 3 and it's pretty damn fun. Maybe it's not a masterpiece or anything, but I enjoy the flow of combat and it has some nice character building. I don't think I'll have any problem breezing through it.

edit - I'm playing with my PS3 pad, since that seems to be the way to play. It's a shame that they (supposedly) botched the keyboard controls, but it plays great with a pad so no complaints here.

edit edit - actually, one complaint, I couldn't find any way to view or remap the button layout for pad controls, which is frustrating
 
Hope the sale brings some more life into Section 8 Multiplayer. Want to finish getting some of the achievements.

For those on the fence - At that price its a pretty fantastic buy. Its not an amazing shooter by any means, but its still tons of fun to play. Pretty decent campaign and the multiplayer is great when there are enough players.
 
Right guys, I can't get any servers for CSS to show up when I use the server browser. At all.

No filters on, no boxes checked, it just doesn't refresh.

I've been playing the servers in my history tab but I want new ones. Any ideas?

Same for me.
 
It's really weird - never had this issue at all in my years of CS.

I can get servers to show up via View > Servers in Steam itself, which is one possible way around it, but that's really annoying.
 
Nah it's been like this for a few months for me. I didn't bother asking before cos I was just jumping in for a few quick matches, but CS:GO has got me in the CS mood lately and I've been playing a lot.

It was fine for me two days ago, maybe it's Steam. You're in the UK too right? Maybe it's a local server issue.
 
ugh.. every time I remember to finally link my profile up to the Steam Guard thing something is down. Oh well maybe one day.

Not having any success using a Controller S and x360ce for 360 pad emulation.

Edit: Just got Bastion working with an Xbox Controller S, XBCD drivers and x360ce emulation.
 
I just realised I have a Deus Ex (original) key on Gamersgate from DE:HR. No idea if it's able to be registered on Steam or not, but hey, it's a game.

First person to quote gets it. No bs competitions :)
 
Is there a way to see your CD keys of Ubisoft games that are not on steam? I want to buy From Dust from GMG, and if juuuuuuuuust with a small chance, in the future I'd be able to activate from dust on steam, I'd like to be sure I can retrieve the key from somewhere.
 
General Steam question. Are there any PC games that you can't add to Steam as a non-steam game because of proprietary launchers? I'm talking about digital download games from sellers like Impulse, Origin, Gamersgate, Green Man Gaming, etc.

I can confirm Origin on ie Mass Effect. I installed them and added them to steam and I could still play them. I've heard GMG's Capsule does the same.
