There's also a fix for the fps cap out

What the hell. At least Bastion made it over fine when it came to the XBLA games.3chopl0x said:Even when forcing vsync and triple buffering with d3doverider the screen tearing is ridiculous, so cross that off your 'easily fixable' list.

Ookami-kun said:So the DRM thing is the reason Steam offered refund?
Et tu, brutusFlunkie said:I asked for a refund for the copy I purchased through Green Man Gaming, and they said they couldn't refund it but understand my frustrations with the DRM and as a measure of good will instead gave me the full cost of the game back in credit.
Their customer service always takes 1-2 days for response (and it's usually when I'm sleeping, given they're based in London), but whenever they do respond, it's with the utmost class and respectability. Very happy dealing with them.

Are there any games that I might have problems with, DRM and such, when I reinstall Steam and games again?
Should I do anything in Steam before removing it, formatting C: and installing W7?
I would get into the habit of a OS partition(if you only have a large drive) and install all steam games on D:\. If you do that you won't have to touch the Steam folder(and most other games) when you format and you won't have to re-download everything.Benedict said:I'm reinstalling my computer with win 7 64-bit and a new graphics card, Gigabyte GTX460.

Oh man, and I was already resigned to skipping this due to the From Dust debacle. Clash of Heroes is AWESOME, by the way.MRORANGE said:it has STEAMWORKS
Ionic said:Lost Coast and Deathmatch require assets from Half-Life 2. Things like guns, sounds, barrels, and textures. Instead of downloading the same things multiple times for Lost Coast, Deathmatch, and Half-Life 2, it will just download these files once (as Half-Life 2) and use them for the games that need them. I think.
svegis said:Correct, and this would've been my answer as well, if it wouldn't have been for him saying that it started AFTER he exited the games. All dependencies are downloaded before you start it, for obvious reasons. Could it be however that his Lost Coast and Deathmatch had downloaded enough of the gfc's and then continued with HL2 to finish up? Maybe, another guess of mine is that he might be new to Steam and it might've been a sync instead. Still, unless you're bandwidth capped HL2 isn't that big and should hopefully not be that big of a hassle.

Might & Magic Clash of Heroes
Might & Magic Clash of Heroes takes place 40 years before the Heroes V saga. Scattered across five different regions of Ashan, five special heroes must travel their own dangerous paths to grow in strength, unravel a demonic plot, and ultimately save the world from Chaos.
it has STEAMWORKS + co-op 2-4 players so that's great, love the art style as well, kinda looks like a space invaders/final fantasy/zelda hybrid, probably will get it.

Yeah, it's unoptimized.Derrick01 said:Is Hydrophobia supposed to be unoptimized or something? It wasn't exactly the type of game I expected to drop to 20-30 fps somewhat frequently.
And the whole game is a mess. Quit while you're ahead.Stallion Free said:Yeah, it's unoptimized.

I thought it was kind of cool and uses crazy water stuff, but I only paid $3.snoopeasystreet said:Being unoptimised is unfortunately the best thing about Hydrophobia. That game is hot mess of shit.
