Thanks. One other thing though.

How the hell am i supposed to enter the keys? I went to Jacob's Cove and it locked on the loading screen. There was a pop up on the desktop behind the game that came up that wanted the serial key. Is there another way to input the key without getting stuck on the loading screen for the DLC? I didn't see anything in the options.

You have all the DLC. It's all there when you download the game. You don't have to mess with any of the keys.

Yes. Might want to backup Documents/My Games/Borderlands just in case though.

new update for Edge, game runs at 60fps now, sweet.

Am i the only one who bought it? game is awesome, but the completist inside of me doesnt let me advance through levels unless i get S+, wich can get frustrating :p

Is Batman Arkham City going to be Steamworks? It's £25 over at Greenmangaming, should be around £20 with the voucher code they're running at the moment.

Already have it on iOS (iPhone 3GS). Would it be worth getting for PC?

mh, im not sure

there's free DLC coming based on the sequel (Edge Extended) or something like that, wich i guess you'd need to buy if you get it on the iphone.

Think there's some extra stuff like more bonus levels or something as well.

Hmm, I'd bite on that Batman AC deal if it weren't for the fact that GMG doesn't allow backups. What a shame.
Haven't bought non-steam games on GMG, but what? Do they not let you keep the installer after you finish installing the game or something? (I'm assuming this is because you can trade in games on GMG?)

I just noticed someone strange show up on my friends list. Soon as I went to check their other aliases who ever it was messaged me but it did not seem to be in English. When I asked who they were they logged off.

Wouldn't I have got an email if someone logged on my account? paranoid.. ugh password changing time I guess. :/

Check your community page. It usually tells you when the person got added to your list, and from there you can check aliases and common friends.

If you're changing passwords, make sure you change your email pw as well.

Added them August 9th.. no memory of it. :(

And activate Steam Guard, while you're at it.

I do and it prompts me everytime I switch between my desktop and laptop.. so I figured I was cool. Which makes me more paranoid they got into my email.

Anyways changing passwords now and checking my other accounts. I just did a clean windows install 2 days ago so whatever malware I must have had is hopefully gone.

According to this, no, you cannot back up your games/installers. So if you uninstall the only way to get the game again would be to download again from GMG.

I hadn't thought about how trade-ins would effect game backups. You may be right and that is part of the reason they don't support it. It'd be nice if they would support backups for those games that you can't trade-in anyway though.

In your Borderlands file in the steam directory, you will find DLCSetup & DLCSetup2 run them and enter the keys.

How are you playing this? Keyboard or Gamepad? I tried the demo with both and I just couldn't get into it.

gamepad, 360 d-pad actually. I hate that d-pad but found no issues with it for this game.

nice lil counter-strike sale this weekend as well, though the steam page is being buggy and having a hard time finding the page to tell you the prices. (taking me to CS:GO trailer when i click on counterstrike sale banner).

I noticed something nifty today. If you have, say, two Steam accounts on your PC, and you have the same game on both accounts but it's only installed on one, when you install said game to the other account Steam will simply grab the data locally instead of downloading it.

For example, earlier I created a second Steam account and snapped up CS:S in order to get around a server ban, and while I was waiting for the game to install I noticed the percentage was quickly going up but Steam wasn't downloading anything. When I ran the game after the process completed, Steam validated the files before taking me to the main menu. So, instead of having to wait a couple hours for Steam to download CS:S it instead simply copied the requisite data over from my other account in about a minute.

Part of me always wants to buy Condition Zero when it's on sale just so my Valve collection is complete.

That's what I'm doing with Day Of Defeat today. Now just for a Left 4 Dead sale and I'm complete.

You made a second account and bought CS:S just to bypass a specific server ban?

I bought CS1.6 for $2.50 and it came with Condition Zero for free.
They're included together now, but I like many people got CS (and DoD and Ricochet and Blue Shift and...) when we plugged in our Half-Life CD-Key ages ago. Condition Zero wasn't part of it and it's not really worth buying except to complete the collection.

Just bought the CS1 Anthology for $3.74, for some reason I hadn't already owned these

Will install 1.6, play once, get frustrated, quit and never play again

Has there ever been a games for windows title that was Steamworks?

Edit: I guess Skyrim is a Games for Windows title and is also Steamworks. Maybe AC will be too!

Might be missing a few.

Yup, gives me hope that I can get it for cheap from GMG and put it on STeam.
