Expressing interest is the only way publishers are going to listen. Off the top of my head, I've contacted:
- Ubisoft about Anno 1404 (which actually went somewhere), King Kong, Tintin, Anno 1701 and the classic Rainbow Six games (Ubi forum thread here -- feel free to bump it)
- Bethesda about Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

Doesn't sound too bad of a experience and hopefully they can patch the darkness at least. Since it was definitely sounding like a bit much before you got the flashlight. I'm guessing if you're lazy you can just stand there and wait for the character to say something on where to go? Regardless looks like a game ill end up playing around Halloween.

Muxwell (developer of Earth: Year 2066) finally got back to me earlier and unsurprisingly Valve cut all ties with him after the... Early Access incident a little while ago. I was expecting that to be the case, but part of me was still hoping I'd be able to get the game for a reasonable price. A fellow game collector in my friends list has a spare, so I've asked him how much he'd like for it. I'm not going to like the answer, I imagine.
Atari has nothing to do with D&D these days, outside of BG2: Enhanced Edition.

There's some story reasons, but let me say this now, while the story isn't bad, it's not the reason to play the game.
Thankfully you're only flashlight-less for the first day, but as that's the period of time you're figuring out everything with the game stumbling around the dark can be not very fun. And you could do that if you're lazy, but I found this was only a problem later in the game as the house got pretty big and some days didn't have indication of where you had to go.
Yeah I just started reading into it and it's kinda sad that it's getting hate because of it's graphics like this. Where did they even get the pictures, are they still low res screenshots? Game might look better later on, but it's REmake, I don't care how the fuck it looks, it could be the same as the GC game and I wouldn't care, I just want to play it on my PC/Steam.

Jase, from now on, you should just get ANY. ANY Early Access game, regardless of its eye gouging Australian price. Cuz no matter how costly they are, they compare nothing to the horrors you Australians deal with on a daily basis.
I actually dreamt that the game was pulled due to the shenanigans, however I just shrugged it off as a silly dream... only to return home later and find that Valve had put its foot down while I was out. Needless to say that, going forward, I'll be trusting my gut.

After the Skullgirls DLC thread nothing surprises me to be honest. A lot of the things a few people in there are expecting would be a complete overhaul and/or cost a hefty sum. This looks to have more resources than the RE4 release on Steam but not the full on budget to redo half the things from a game that is 13 years old. Plus Capcom have a history of misplacing their art assets (Okami, Umbrella Chronicles), I wouldn't be surprised if half the backdrops here are lost to time.

I always consider that a dumb argument. While I love the later RE games to death, they're just too different from the original titles. Even REs easy mode with more ammo still wasn't that close to what we have now.

Just wait, I've put my cards on the market and while some of them sold almost intantly other are selling days after the original listing.

I wish I had managed to beat the first one. I feel like I played so many hours and got so many floors in, but it just started to get a bit too samey and the "puzzles" a bit frustrating.
REmake is one of my favorite games ever and i'd glady pay for it again even if they just gave us the gamecube version with no upgrades. any upgrades they do have are just a bonus. (yes, i already play it on dolphin...but...steam...) any word on price? i'm assuming $20 because of RE4?

Depends on the volume of the particular cards. Prices always have ebbs and flows and if there's only a few on the market pushing the price down generally you can price above them and they'll still sell pretty quickly. But I have priced quite a few (probably the majority) as the lowest on the market and they haven't sold either.
Looking at the cards there doesn't seem to be a clear downturn across the board but I'm guessing the slight increase in volume due to idlemaster is having a suppressive effect on the whole market especially on more obscure titles. In the past with my pricing generally I'd see around a quarter of my listings sell overnight but the last couple of days it's only been a few. I'm sure once this initial rush finishes off things will return more to normal. I'm not that pressed for funds that I'm going to slash three or four cents off every potential sale unless I have to eventually, that's a few dollars total.
To be clear, I'm not complaining about the existence of idle master, just making observations about the market and my results. But seriously, fuck Blade Symphony. Now I don't even want to try playing the game.

Oh boy, then the REmaster is going to give you a heart attack. It's the scariest non-silent hill game that i've played, to the point that i could only play it in small sessions because it would stress me out. and i bought it for my bday, so it was like the most terrifying gift i've ever given myself.
Speaking of which: someone seems to have found possible links to a REmake 2, which I would fucking love to have but i'm not believing it till i see it. RE2 is a game i played through 5 times back when it came out, after losing a complete save file and then playing the 4 different scenarios back to back. If it comes out it'll be the rare game i buy day 1.
