We already know that the raccoon tail, cape, and propeller suit are in the game. They've all been featured in trailers. The demo at E3 is limited to 2 rows of stuff while the full game that the Treehouse has access to has 5 rows. The editor has 6 rows but the 6th row isn't numbered like the other 5 and is empty; no idea what it's for. They were messing around with the editor today on Treehouse in SMW style and the feather was there.

Will that be the normal box like Mario Party 8, or is it limited?![]()

I wonder if we are underestimating how difficult it is going to be to continually switching between the physics of all four of these games especially when most of the maps are going to be well above average difficulty.
What's the use of that pixelated Mario again?
DO we have any information about sound? Will we be able to chose different songs for each setting, or are they locked in?
Nothing has been said, but there is a mysterious frog icon that they've yet to show off, which can be seen in the trailer. It's on the side with the game style and level theme settings giving the impression it has something to do with the feel of the stage and it looks familiar to a certain Mario Paint music composer icon.

With all the other Mario Paint references I don't think it's a stretch to say that's the same frog. So that icon could very well have something to do with music. Of course it could also be something as simple as just toggling the sound effects that play when you place down pieces.
I remember someone asking earlier about the stages that scroll to the side by themselves and if this option would be available in Super Mario Maker. In case it hasn't been answered:
I saw one of the stages scrolling on its own. But it was very brief, as the guy died pretty quickly haha. So please take this with a grain of salt.
You can make autoscrollers. There are 3 different speed settings.
I don't think that makes sense. The first 5 bars seem to be customizable since they look quite random in their layout, we've seen them have different layouts, and whichever bar you pick something from becomes your current hotbar. Note that there is a customize button that likely allows you to move the tools around.I've watched every Treehouse segment on Super Mario Maker and I'm fairly certain they said at one point that bar 6 is a customizable hotbar.
Nobody can test it because this is what the demo at E3 is limited to:I'm going to the next scheduled Best Buy Mario Maker event this Saturday but Wario64 tweeted that at some Best Buy locations they're not allowing people to try the editor. He said he was forced to play two pre-made levels but was not allowed to try the editor at all, has this happened to any one else here? I really hope they don't do that at my location. Wario64 said it might depend on traffic.
Also, has it been confirmed whether or not you can make "SMB 1 versions" of things like Raccoon Mario and 8-bit Yoshi? (NOT using the Yoshi Aniibo obviously) I've been watching as many of the Treehouse videos as I can and it looks like you can switch it to any style on the fly no matter what you're using, whenever they take Yoshi I'm like yelling at them to change the tile set back to either SMB 1 or 3. Is there anyone in the thread at E3 who can try this? If the devs went to all the trouble of making newer enemies like Thwomps and Wigglers playable in SMB 1 style I'd be really surprised if you couldn't make SMB 1 style versions of things like Raccoon Mario and 8-bit Mario riding an 8-bit Yoshi.
Hopefully you can at least choose whatever music you want for a course from an assortment of music they give you. I might want to make a more intense underwater course but the underwater music would kill the mood.Nothing has been said, but there is a mysterious frog icon that they've yet to show off, which can be seen in the trailer. I hope there will be a Yoshi's Island Maker mode in this too.

They only allow you to use the editor if there is nobody waiting to play.I'm going to the next scheduled Best Buy Mario Maker event this Saturday but Wario64 tweeted that at some Best Buy locations they're not allowing people to try the editor. Do you access Bowser Jr. by selecting and shaking Bowser (similar to how you take a green Koopa and make it red)? We've seen Bowser Jr. in all four styles.I have, however, pieced together how it works from the Treehouse footage of the full game.

This level has spikes inside the lava so that it appears Yoshi is running on lava (you can see the tips of the spikes if you look closely), and also features an absolutely bonkers enemy encounter. We also see the axe and collapsing bridge in the context of Super Mario World. Neat! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3snfnk_iUA

Is this what the ghost house looks like in SMB1? It aesthetically resembles the underground, but the music sounds like ghost house music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L1yqDPCbV0
I'm googling around and I still can't tell if the game will include different physics from SMB3, World, etc.
100 Mario Challenge is a mode where you have to breat a bunch of random courses pulled from online with 100 lives. Is there pre-made levels already created by Nintendo? I assume that is the 100 Mario Challenge mode but I'm not sure if those are full levels or not. Is courses only levels made by the community. Can you download them and play offline?
I have too many questions

What strikes me is the humour/comical factor in most of the courses. It looks like a very funny game on top of a fun one. This is going to be one of the best games of all time.
The new Ghost House SMB theme is also awesome.super mario world has the best sound design
You can tap it during a stage to add the mega mushroom (makes Mario grow big, makes wacky changes to the enemy sprites) and it also adds a CRT-style filter.

Basically stuff that could be unlocked by playing the freaking game...unlike the not-so-exclusive Amiibo costumes, which I hope makes it follow that trend.
That sounds nice. Does the SMB1 style get airships too?
