I can't fucking wait for some info on Ultimate. All I want to see for the next iteration is Squirrel Girl, Strider, CapCom, Gene and Ms. Marvel/Rouge. I already got my train ticket to crazytown.

Here are some of the many posts Lupinko has dropped in the past 24 hours. Apparently he must have recently been hit with a ton of stuff, because the first thing he posted was a link to Quad City DJ's "C'mon ride the train" and told GAF to get hype.

I got a LOOOONG list of wished for cast. Some old and some new, but thats everyone who ever enjoyed Maahvel to begin with.

That last list of hopefulls is pretty much something I don't hold out all hope for though given several are dead in the comics now, and others won't exactly be likely since they are either niche, forgotten, or having their old roles filled already. Still...so much to hype for and dream about again.
I'd love that Urien stuff in this game and I think Archangel and Iceman would be fun to play (especially anti-chip Iceman tactics from MVC2 on Phoenix and x-factor users).
There were actually a lot of votes for Vergil in those Capcom Unity threads. Never give up!

Round 2 actually ended and there was never any word on a round 3. The results of Round 2 were interesting. Mega Man X and Venom have insane love and Squirrel Girl actually made top 10. None of this was official, but all of it was watched by Seth so he knows what we said which is all we were hoping for anyhow. I posted the round 1 results to give a better view on the most picked 100.
My expected are:

Fun thought...Jell-o comment turning out to equal Yellow Devil from Megaman as playable.

I also want to see the gems from MSH make a return in the single player.
Capcom's going to focus on making dat money so I wouldn't give up hope if the character you wanted didn't show up. I also think they're just going to put characters in even if the playstyles overlap.

Am I the only one who wants Classic Mega Man over Mega Man X any day? I don't care if X himself was never in a fighter, just as long as they put CLASSIC Mega Man then I'm fine. It just feels so unfair that the character that started it all (all as in his franchise) gets excluded.

This is why I hope Dr. Wily makes it so bad. He could easily play like a Doronjo from TVC and use non-stop summon attacks from different master robots...its the ultimate tribute to the franchise that I could want.
Megaman himself was awesome, but this would likely please me far more as a fan.

How about levels?
I think Vergil is a shoe-in and a DMC level needs to be added.
Strider? How about one based on the first level of Strider, to go along with the classics like Final Fight and Ghouls and Ghosts.
I'm sure more X-Men will show up. An updated Danger Room could be amazing.

Wtf... If they announce it this summer, comes in next spring, a yearly iteration is more than fine. Unless you are one of those players who gladly put out 60$ yearly for a few hours of currently hyped FPS, but wont do it for fighting games where you can put 4-500+ hours easily into one.
