Since the game is 480p in the arcades, wouldn't it have to be reworked for the PS3 and 360?

This isn't a rushed port or anything, this is being built on Wii hardware. There is no valid reason not to get it if you a)Want it bad enough and b)Already own a Wii.

What people want from the Wii is a variety of games with genuine effort put into them. Not all minigames or all shooters. This is an example of such a game. It has more mainstream appeal, has a limited-button control scheme, but is still a fighter. It is "the Wii's fighter". That is what people are looking for. "The Wii's Fighter", "The Wii's Shooter", "The Wii's Minigame-compilation", "The Wii's Puzzle Game", "The Wii's Platformer". Much more than both the PS3 and 360 as well. This is a contradictory sentence though. Should the console with the better default pad or the default optional pad be the deciding factor of what makes it better? pretty sure the problem comes down to standards. All disc based releases have to be "HD" (even though many render below 720p). As far as MS and Sony are concerned, releasing a 480p game and just outputting it in 720p doesn't cut the mustard.
