So, the pilot:

Really great stuff. Loved the cast. Eva Greene was awesome, Timothy Dalton was cool as fuck, Josh Hartnett and the guy playing Frankenstein was pretty good. Really liked the horror they were going for, and they did a good job making everything feel creepy and gothic and unnerving.

that Chandler has ties to the Ripper in some way or another. He must be involved.

Also really loved how they played the end scene.
