Well this is gonna be my first Tekken (Technically I did play Tekken 3 a lot, but it was mainly just button mashing. I was never good at the game and never sunk any real time into it) so I'm incredibly excited.

I've really been thirsting for a 3D fighter since I did an impromptu Bloody Roar 2 tournament in my group of friends. I'm definitely with this game for the long haul!

I'm getting interested despite being knee deep in injustice right now because Tekken has some dope characters. Miguel, Eddie, Katarina, Josie, Master Raven. I have no idea who i'd main I love all of em design wise. Ive never juggled 3 fighting games at the same time though (SFV, Inj2, and possibly Tekken) so its a bit overwhelming. And MvCI soon...

I wouldn't mind a pointer towards some high level Lee/Violet players. I'm tempted to return to the world of Tekken.

for the console characters, you're gonna have to wait for the game to be officially out and match footage to come out and so forth. You can always look up tag 2/tekken 6 footage but its only 2-3 days till launch. You can check out Knee, JDCR, Saint, or lowhigh as they play all characters at high levels but keep an eye out for the following Lee specialists: Shuudy(jp), HelpMe(Kr), fightingGM(usa).

New PC 4k footage with max settings on a single 1080 setup on a hdd.

The fps drops are rather minor (cutscenes drop a bit more to 46fps but gameplay it stays in about 54fps and could be easily solved by dropping anti aliasing from high to off (4k and high aa is probably overkill either way).

That looks like an excellent version, can't wait to see how well it runs on my 970 in 1440p.

@1:18 there's a HDD vs SSD footage and it actually loads additional seconds faster from the already fast HDD loading times.

About the whole DLC character discussion around page 7 of this thread, I really don't see how Harada and Murray's comments about DLC support makes perfect sense for there to be free characters coming up.

They say they've gotten the budget for another year of support because of the Season Pass, which will rake in the money, and thus they can give the "year of support" which we already know will be the extra mode, 2 DLC characters and more items. The 1-year support is what you get in the Season Pass, not what you'll get in addition to it.

That's what they do. They will pat themselves on the back. Celebrate that the game is out. Talk about the Day 1 patch that hit yesterday, and show off the game. I really wouldn't expect any kind of announcement, let alone a character announcement on tomorrow's Tekken Talk. Of course, you're free to expect what you want.

What cordy is saying is that this time around they actually secured a budget for the DLC, and by having season pass revenue coming in they can support future free updates with that money.

I see it another way. I see it as because Harada and his team said okay to do a Season Pass, that made the higher ups give them a budget to do the Season Pass content, because they have faith in getting revenue through this business decision. Alas, your 1 year of post-launch content is what you'll get with the Season Pass content.

Haha just as you typed this I got it to work, yeah focus attack is the trigger for FADC (X+Y) or (Square+Triangle)
