The Power Wii trademark is odd. Sounds more like some kind of add-on than an actual system upgrade.

Now you're playing with infinite power.Turrican3 said:Still, that infinite symbol is puzzling.

When I hear that name, I immediately have two thoughts:jett said:What the hell is PowerWii?
viciouskillersquirrel said:Power Wii is a horrible name for a system and goes against everything the Wii is about. As a system name it would take very simple branding with a wide appeal and add an inexplicable focus on the 12-year-old-boy and manchild demographic.
It's probably a peripheral or a game title (Wii Power).
Or an add-on to Wii Fit that provides resistance. It could be anything.Deku said:stationary bike that plugs into the wii. to play, you provide the power.
Mr.Wuggles said:FMA related i'm sure.
what does this translate to?

I agree but damn, even Wii sounded like a terrible choice.viciouskillersquirrel said:Power Wii is a horrible name for a system

Wii sounds like a terrible choice if you assume that Nintendo's target audience was the 12 - 35yo male demographic. If you don't, Wii is a brilliant name (admittedly, I, as a 12 - 35 year old male, didn't warm to it at first). Where women and adults wouldn't be caught dead using something ultra-masculine and powerful-sounding like the Xbox or the specifically toy-sounding Playstation, Wii is whimsical, non-descriptive, unique and non-demographically specific.Turrican3 said:I agree but damn, even Wii sounded like a terrible choice.
We'll see.

Edo-Tan I think. I guess as in 'Edo' period, guess 'Tan' as similar meaning to carried by the expression 'Densetsu'.Nirolak said:Does anyone happen to know what this one says?
Google Translate wasn't very helpful here.

Sounds like a causal game. Or maybe a sim-like game.

Xater said:What's up with those two God Eater trademarks? New games? Ports?
BluWacky said:Probably just merchandise. Trademarks are registered in different classes depending on the type of product the mark is used with, so previously they may have only registered God Eater under the video games class whereas now they might want to make T-shirts, books etc. so are registering the mark under those extra classes.
Xater said:That makes sense. I would have liked new games more.
Spiegel said:God Eater 2, or at least a new God Eater game, was pretty much confirmed on their latest financial report.
