Uncharted 3: Subway's Deception Multiplayer Discussion [New Patch Released]

Is there something about the Uncharted engine that makes glitching easier? Or is it that the platforming makes it easier to break the collision and get outside of the map? I've honestly never played a multiplayer game with as many map glitches as Uncharted 2 & 3 do.

Wireless. I didn't have that much problems with it in UC2 (only several instances), but when the summer beta for UC3 started, I was plagued with them in the beginning. Yesterday night, it was happening again. I moved a little, and I'd see the connection symbol while everyone else was 'shaky' in their movement. What fixed my problem was quitting the game and reconnecting. After that, every match went smoothly. Very weird. lol

Alright cool First party cameo characters confirmed. I don't really know who they could add besides the ones in U2. Jak maybe? Or how about do something really cool and put Solid Snake in. Yea stealth kills like the real boss. Give me MGO nostaglia ND! Combine the two best online third person shooters.

That explains why the game always disconnects! I need to get an Ethernet cable then.

As always, I'd go wired when possible. Aside from your internet provider, there really shouldn't be many severe issues with lag unless if the host has a really bad upload speed. Like I said, I haven't had any issues, and I'm using wired on 50/20.

They're already in the retail release. Two of them. I can guarantee you that they'll be in the future DLC skins. The two that are in the retail release will probably be unlocked for beating the game on Crushing and guess what's going to happen when people do it? Skeleton skins all the way. Ugh.
 
Seems like they fixed any chance of glitching?... I got stuck in some wall and got killed by something called "multiplayer Godsmote".

What the heck is that? Arne?
 
It's when you glitch outside of the map's geometry. You'll automatically get killed and get that message. It's been like that since the start, I believe. Although I really have no idea about that desert village glitch since I haven't seen it/experienced it myself.

I dont think so.. Ive seen some people make it outside the Desert, without getting killed and shoot people from a distance as long as they could. I hope it applies to those areas now aswell.

I know for sure it worked on the Chateau map because there was video footage with that message when people glitched outside the map. I saw video footage of the Desert Village glitch and the people who do it don't get that message. Hahaha, it's inconsistent. That glitch is so easy to do too from that video and you basically can kill anyone. you'd think this type of shit wouldn't happen again after some of the game breaking glitches that happened in Uncharted 2, but damn.

This fucking game and all the disconnections. I never have a problem in any other game or had a problem with the beta. I'm wired, DMZ, clear network, yet I still get that controller desync icon and the game disconnects. It seems all my stats were reset as well.

Anyways, played Hardcore for 3+hrs and got ONE treasure drop... Thank god it was a real one and none of that Subway BS. Even luckier that it wasn't a dupe. This NEEDS to be fixed ND.

totally agree. I'm trying to get back to using L1 again, but it's so annoying to be in scenarios where I would have killed someone if I had my trusty KAL-7 with me

It was cool just seeing a few GAFfers on. I haven't played the game since maybe 2 weeks+ before the new patch was implemented but it seems as if the dashing has been nerfed and the guns feels better. Still, I think I'm just gonna play co op modes when the game drops as I am just too poor on a competitive level.
 
I downloaded the EU multiplayer demo from the UK PSN store last week, and it says I need promotional codes to unlock Redshirt Drake, the Kiss It taunt, and the Naughty Dog weapons.
I've asked around on the Naughty Dog forums, and even asked a few Dogs, but I haven't found anywhere giving away EU codes. Any ideas?

GGs to everlong, DerekS, and Bleach. Finally go to play some Facility today. Actually like this map's frozen makeover. Towards the end of UC2 ,Facility was probably my second favorite DLC map next to Flooded Ruins.

Also, got my first rage medal in this beta! Wooooooo!

I tried replaying UC1 the other day, I had forgotten the loud noises it makes the BD drive do...so I stopped out of fear of my ps3 borking up. :P
 
ND can you please fix the system freezes in cinema mode. I love playing around with it and saving my matches but it crashes far to much. Maybe it will be better with a disc release. Also I hate when the host changes or when you late join in on a game you can't save a video. I really wanted to save my rampant TDM match. I don't think I'll ever get one again.

ND also can you please change up the Uncharted TV videos. You play the same ones far too much and there is always that first 10 seconds of video that is just "the following is rating pending" kinda crap and by the time the actual video starts you get into a game.

How do you get video's in the community section? Is it random? Does ND pick them?
