I'm just going to leave you with a couple tidbits. This game is hard af, it punishes you like a Souls game, it has the best controls of any 2D game I've ever played, and it's probably the best game on Switch.
I don't expect it to get BOTW scores only because reviewers are too soft for this level of gaming, and there is a lot of angst directed towards this game for some reason, but it's an absolute masterpiece and will one day be remembered as one of the best games ever.
Samus Returns is dogmeat in comparison.
Sounds like hyperbole but holy shit, HOLY SHIT.
Dude, lay off the low effort threads for a bit. Especially ones filled with hyperbole like this.
The game isn't that difficult. Almost every enemy is a pushover if you have basic timing to counter. Bosses pose a bit more of a challenge, but you start either at the room or shortly before it so a death is only a few seconds of wasted effort. Its the typical memorize their few attack patterns and hit them in their weak point.
Now, that isn't a bad thing as its a tried and true method of boss design. The bosses are unique nad varied so you always have something to look forward to. However, they aren't as "difficult" as soulsbourne games, or even as difficult as classical Metroid or Castlevania titles.
As for EMMI's, that will be more subjective. Outside a few deaths, I haven't had any issue thus far at the halfway point. A few deaths, but they start you at the beginning of an EMMI door when you do. As long as you can keep a cool head, you should get through with little problem.
Its an amazing game, but trying to hype it up this much or just outright make hyperbole statements helps no one and can only help push people further away from playing.
