I wouldn't get hyped for a revamped UI in iOS 6 because the new Maps is specially themed. Virtually every app is specially themed.

I don't really think the core UI will change all that much.
iOS could use a bit of a visual refresh, but I'm not expecting a complete overhaul. Just some smaller tweaks to modernize it a bit like removing the "pinstripes" background in settings, switching the toolbar color from blue to gray, stuff like that.
Huh, guess he deleted it. Just the locate me button from the iOS 6 maps app.link doesnt work. what was it?

I'm just thankful its not some parchment texture or stitched leather.
Seeing that screenshot reminds me ... A quick way to see the date would be great.
I can't wait for the meltdowns when there isn't a total iOS revamp.... i'm calling it people.
This. A thousand times.Pinstripes thankfully went away long ago in OSX. Maybe Apple can make up for bringing them back by making them go away again!
Yeah, expect a unification with iPad style silver toolbars.Yep, that's a button.
Looks exactly like the current Maps 'Locate Me' button except silver and gray.
Apple needs to meet thatpppp and make it work with Siri.
The maker of the iPhone and iPad is preparing a big upgrade to its online service iCloud that includes new photo-sharing features, according to people familiar with the matter.
The new features, likely to be announced at Apple's world-wide developer conference beginning June 11, will allow iCloud users to share sets of photos with other iCloud users and to comment on them, these people said. Currently, users can only store one set of photos in iCloud through a feature called Photo Stream, which is designed to sync those photos to other Apple devices, not share them.
Apple is trying to better compete in the red-hot market for photo sharing, dominated by fast-growing online services such as Facebook Inc. and mobile apps like Instagramwhich Facebook has agreed to acquire for $1 billion.
The Cupertino, Calif., company is also working on a new feature that will allow iCloud users to sync their personal videos via iCloud, these people said, adding that Apple also plans to allow users to access "Notes" and "Reminders"two of its apps for jotting down quick thoughtsthrough iCloud.com. Currently, those items have to be accessed via apps for those features.
These features are also expected in Apple's next mobile-phone operating system, iOS 6, which Apple is planning to preview to developers in June, the people said.
I'm really hoping they re-do the way App Updating works - it's currently by far the biggest frustration I have with iOS.
Specifically, the way in which any update causes the entire application to be re-downloaded rather than having a patch applied. It's especially fun when you have the likes of Infinity Blade and Chaos Rings installed, as my iPhone often complains it doesn't have enough room to download updates.
I'd like to see background updating/installation of apps too...
We're talking desktop, right? Just making sure, because that would be absolutely fucking killer if they finally made iTunes NOT shit. It's too easy to turn Photo Stream on on my Apple TV. I don't want random guests to be able to look at cock pics from Grindr

iOS 6 is codenamed 'Sundance,' Siri for iPad is reasonably likely, as well as the big enhancements to iCloud and Maps that everyone's been talking about. Also, iTunes 11 might finally be a full rewrite of the program.

I was devastated when the iPad was revealed without Dashboard. It makes ridiculous sense, and counters Android's widgeting funtime.iOS needs to start diverging depending on the device, namely iPad. I want exposé/mission control NAO. I could totally see it in my mind's eye, too. Switcher is so stupid on such a large screen; wasted potential.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...thinner-mac-laptops-sporting-intel-chips.htmlApple Inc. (AAPL) is preparing a new lineup of thinner MacBook laptops running on more powerful chips made by Intel Corp. (INTC), people with knowledge of the plans said.
The MacBook Pro machines, to be unveiled at Apples annual developers conference starting June 11, also will feature high- definition screens like those on the iPhone and iPad, as well as flash memory to cut startup times and extend battery life, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans havent been made public.
Apples Mac sales are growing faster than the personal- computer market, benefiting from the popularity of its mobile devices. Since 2007, when the iPhone was introduced, Apples Mac sales have more than doubled, reaching $21.8 billion last year. As Apples share has grown, competitors such as Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ), Dell Inc. (DELL) and Samsung Electronics Co. have followed suit in making thinner, aluminum laptops that start up more quickly.
Apples new laptops will run on Intels new processors, code-named Ivy Bridge, and will have a slimmed-down body design from the current 0.95-inch thickness, the people said.
Bill Evans, a spokesman for Cupertino, California-based Apple, declined to comment, while Chuck Mulloy, a spokesman for Intel, referred questions to Apple.
Apple shares fell 1.5 percent to $558.22 at the close in New York. The stock has risen 38 percent this year.
Thought I should cross-post this, but it's already been turned into a Jailbreak. That was fast! The turnaround time from concept to actuality in the JB community is awesome, lol. Anyway;Do it Apple...DO IT (just the top on/off buttons)

I think I might buy it.[/QUOTE]
It's not a bad idea. However I don't like the order of the app history. It should be like this
5 6 7 8
1 2 3 4
Not
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
Most recent should be bottom left corner, like it is currently.
Does it work with Zephyr?Thought I should cross-post this, but it's already been turned into a Jailbreak. That was fast! The turnaround time from concept to actuality in the JB community is awesome, lol. Anyway;
