Oh man 50% off is always nice, I guess I'm very likely buying this now. How is the performance on the Wii U? I assume it's the same as the Wii version, which brings me to the next question, how was Xenoblade on Wii?

It's been a few years since I played the game but I don't remember any performance issues. I think there was one boss that had some framedrops when a lot of stuff was going down but nothing major. The eshop version is playable on the Wii U gamepad btw so that's a nice bonus compared to the original Wii version.

Gamesradar seems to be the best critically and GameXplain in terms of saying what the game is about.
Overall I feel like I can get into this compared to the Wii game.

But we already know its a solid game with some flaws. Its been out for awhile now, it's not like this game is unknown.

Ok so the dialogue might make more sense now that it's localized, but it doesn't change what is already widely known about the game.

That's....how game reviews has been done for decades? They review what's coming out for their region (so that people can actually buy it) unless they stated import.

As a critic who often overlooks the soundtrack of any given release, I feel it’s my duty to get this important bit of information out of the way early – Xenoblade Chronicles X has possibly the best soundtrack a videogame’s hosted in years, and I do not say that lightly. Hiroyuki Sawano brings an unforgettable mix of inspiring tunes and deliciously cheesy numbers to create something that will bury its way into the audience’s ears.

It might be a little too campy for some – almost every track, including battle music, contains hilariously melodramatic lyrics – but to the aficionado of the ridiculous, it’s audio majesty.
