You need an ability from later in the game to get past the security camera. Specifically, the invisibility move Trowzer gives you just before the fourth world.
Thank you!

It's been a week and GOG version is still not patched.
Is this normal? Do GOG versions of games get shafted like this regularly?
You're supposed to get the final upgrade to get up there. There are a lot of places you're supposed to come back to after getting powers that are technically possible with goofy jumping. On top of this some of the game design decisions are equally baffling. To get to the top of the central parthenon like structure in that first world I had to navigate the exterior of the model in a way that felt like I was exploiting terrible model and bounding-box designs. I understand making a game not hand-holdy, but that's ridiculous. There were other situations of the same sort of thing. Where it felt like to get where I needed to go I had to traverse areas that appeared to not be viable.
2nd week of July now, where's the console version of the newest patch? It's been out on PC for a few weeks now....
What's with these bigger indie games being released after the other versions or being delayed?Still patiently waiting to get this game on the Switch. This and Rime...
Hope they come sooner rather than later, I really want to play.
My guess is that due to Playtonic's inexperience with console title update processes, they must be going through quite a bit of certification hell. Wouldn't be surprised one bit to hear that they faced a few rejections that are making the patch longer to come than what they originally expected.
I'm in the Casino map and I think I had enough of this game. The map is so boring to play.
Just wanted to ask, will I like this game if I've never played Banjo Kazooie, Tooie?
I have played and beaten Donkey Kong 64.
Just wanted to know before I get this on Switch, if it ever releases, anyway.
You might have a harder time looking passed its flaws if you don't have the Banjo nostalgia glasses
Game doesn't hold a candle to Banjo so I'd argue the opposite.
Probably a lot of visual downgrades + 720p or even sub-720p, at least in handheld modeHow will this manage to run on the Switch?, performance isn't that good on PS4... don't want to imagine how it will run on Switch.

Got the game today and so far I'm really enjoying it. I did notice something odd though. A circular spotlight effect on the ground around the characters. Like as I'm walking I can see the immediate area around yooka is brighter than a few feet ahead. It's circular in shape almost as if there's a weak spotlight around the characters.
The world expansion mechanic sounded interesting on paper, but it was so obvious and jarring how the level would just stop in the first world that I ended up expanding the next two worlds before I even entered.
I see GOG have the patch now. Is this game worth £26? Is it as big/varied as banjo kazooie?
This mechanic is so weird to me, because I feel its intention is to play in a smaller version of the map to better internalize it instead of being given a massive play space all at once but the game is inconsistent with what the expansions add that this doesnt really shake out. The only time it feels like its used well is in World 3.
Id say Id want them to continue exploring this mechanic in a sequel, but maybe its something they thought was cool on paper, couldnt make work, and then felt hamstrung by promising because World 5 is so hilariously empty without expanding (i think you can only get like 4 pagies?) that theres zero reason to pop in its smaller state.
C'mon now...its about the end of July, where's the PS4 patch???????
and do we still not even have a date for the Switch version...?
Nope. Just that it's coming this year.
Yeah, the Switch is starved for a platformer right nowCan't be good for sales to release too close to Odyssey.
A GS employee told me they believe Switch version will be pushed into early next year.
I know, they usually aren't always a reliable source, but take it for what it's worth.
Was it followed by, "Would you like to preorder Super Mario Odyssey or Xenoblade 2?"A GS employee told me they believe Switch version will be pushed into early next year.

I bought this for PS4 during GameStop's sale a while back, and waiting to really play it until the patch is out. I'm not mad or anything but the wait is painful.
I bought this for $10 during Prime Day -- worth playing now or should I wait for the patch? I have other stuff I could dig into in the meanwhile...
Yeah, one cell phone camera photo of the game "running" on Switch was honestly kind of a copout. We know it's in-development, but would some direct-feed footage have killed them?No Switch version yet, or even an update on it at this point is quite disappointing.....this game has already been out for everything else for months!!!!!!!!
