Put together a 9133 oku run in the original game this morning, just in time for World Ignition.
I watched a few videos of the Nesica release and there are some pretty huge differences, especially in stages 4 and 5. Seems like the game will be significantly more difficult.

To clear up any confusion: they were both briefly 30% off for maybe half a minute before the deluxe edition was lowered further to 60% off.
If you added it to cart when it was 30% off, hope the price changed for you before you checked out.

aaaaaaaand my 360 & PS3 arcade sticks don't work with my PC. This is what I get for using the same sticks the whole gen... gonna have to run out and grab a new one later.

1. I've been playing for just 30 minutes I think so maybe I'm not looking in the right places but it doesn't seem like there is a shop? The training mode starts with all the stages unlocked (and it's full of options, I'm impressed), and the three types are unlocked from the beginning.
2. They corrected the price again, the deluxe edition now stands at 30% discount.

StarCreator, I'm ready to build that PC so I'm gonna need your help (just message me via FB). But I do wanna make sure one of my sticks will work (one if my Seimitsu sticks) and the PC will need HDMI or DVI out...and small form factor so it can fit on that shelf in the cab (where the 360 usually sits).
And looking for confirmation on PS360 if anybody has one if those and can test.

Yeah, we'll definitely talk. I also have a couple PS360+s on hand but they're not actually wired to anything yet. Might try to do a test rig for it, but someone who already has a controller set up could test quicker than I.

...but I just won the game off Modbot and a generous junior, so I guess I'll find out for myself in a few minutes!

If anything, I would be inclined to think he didn't mean that in earnest. But, on the off chance that he did, $5 is a small price to pay to ensure that the game gets another copy sold.
