Hey look, the last Dualshockers link we'll see on GAF.

Also: I'm going to say this is fake. Not because of crappy image verification websites, not because October "isn't the summer", but because Sony would quite literally have to be incompetent to launch this in October. It would have to compete with:

- Alien: Isolation
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- DriveClub
- Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
- NBA 2K15
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
- Battlefield: Hardline
- Evolve

And technically, since there's only a week between the two of them: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Those sales would be so trash, they might not even turn a profit the first month. :p

I am confused we had ads that said June as well, what makes this more right than those?

Incredibly disappointing if this ad ends up being true. Summer release makes the most sense for everyone, imo

I just can't see this game selling well in an already crowded October.

I can't see the date on the Last of Us ad on the eurogamer website, what I did see was that the next ad straight after was for driveclub which did have the date for the 10th october. why would sony release two of their games on exactly the same day?

The date doesn't make sense for sure. You don't say a game is coming out in the summer for it to only come out late autumn, unless sony have fuck all coming out towards the end of the year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made the decision to move the date to fill in their fall line up when The Order was delayed.

This is really bad and going to hate Sony for this decision if its true. Don't make promise Sony if you can't do otherwise you're gonna lose gamers faith on you.

So let's say this is true. Sony is going to release both of its remaining (announced) games for this year at the same time? Seriously? Think that's even an option? That'd be dumb for Sony to do. We'll know shortly but I'm more inclined to believe someone like GAME and their dumb mess up that even went to printing adverts and the like over an ad.

Also they seem to be using mobile to grab that pic that has fucked up the line up of the site, this is pure fake caused by the ad being changed to the mobile eurogamer and the two ads mushing together.

Just go to eurogamer, its the ad that wraps around the whole site, it shows last of us no date given then flashes to drive club with october 10th, like i said its been caused by the site fucking up while in mobile mode and not loading the ad proper as the ad wraps the whole site.

I've already posted a screenshot of it showing that date. What you're saying though could indicate an error with the advert itself; the date should be for driveclub and not TLOU.

What would be really awesome is if Sony actually trolled us and said during the conference "some of you might have seen an ad for TLoU Remastered which stated an October 10th release date; well that was just a placeholder, it's actually out tomorrow "

Plus that "tomorrow" would be June 10th which is a Tuesday and the day new games come out in the US. October 10th is a Friday, but it is Eurogamer so maybe that's the European date. do games generally come out on Friday in Europe?

Their summer lineup needs some filling too. I don't know. I tweeted Druckmann to see if he will deny the claim. If he doesn't respond, we'll know in less than a day anyway.

hmmm, I hope so.

I just get an ad for "hearthstone" on mobile and it doesnt have any graphical anomolies.

If this is true, I'm just going to sell my PS4 and get a bundle later down the track. I've got a competent PC and the current schedule looks to be multi-platform dominant besides Destiny so no real point holding onto one.

Realistically, could Sony announce any games to release during the now to October window?
