If the US puts together a competent game against Portugal, all bets are off.

If Portugal wins tomorrow, USA loses to Portugal and they beat Portugal then yes.
If USA ties one of the matches and Ghana beats Portugal then it depends on the goal advantage.
Otherwise they're out.

Ghana? Nope. German defence gave away those two goals. Mertesacker and Mustafi didn't even try to get the ball before the first and the second is an assist by Lahm. Ghana played well, used these oppurtunities but they didn't use the ones they played out.

I love the 'Murica hype here but let's be real guys, the performance against Ghana was lackluster. But a win is a win and they can seal the deal against Portugal so everything is possible.
