Haha..I'll def remember that next time. I was trying to keep it packed around my clothes to provide some extra padding in case they tossed my luggage around on the smaller connecting flights. What's funny is that it seemed to not be an issue until today.

Curious.... why did the LVH/Westgate suck for some of you that stayed there?

I loved it, haha. The Elvis con was weird but didn't get in the way. Staff were always super friendly, it's away from the Strip/hordes of drunks on the streets, very reasonable food prices, decent alternative food options at walking distance, great rooms, free parking...

As for Evo 2014... this year was the best out of the 5 times we've gone. My bf made it out of pools this year, hung out with old and new acquaintances, and all three days were a lot of fun overall with the weekend peaking on Finals day. Organizers did an insanely great job this year.

It wasn't too bad. I liked that the rooms are cheap and I like staying at the same hotel as the tourney because I don't feel like walking far late afterwards.

I did have to switch rooms because the AC broke, but the staff were friendly and accommodated pretty well. The complaints are probably more to do with the building being a little run down

How come the commentators were so badly informed during the stream? UltraD and Chen getting info from random Twitter users was very strange. They should be getting reports directly from the floor. I'm also missing brackets being shown and talked about on stream, at least during quarters/semis. Other than those niggles, amazing event.

Yeah IIRC SF4's damage scaling is severe, and when the life is below 25% like shown here there is an ADDITIONAL 10% damage reduction on top of existing damage scaling.

All the brackets were done on paper and it's a pretty massive tournament, so even if judges/officials updated constantly I think twitter monsters like Art would still be faster. Maybe a network of walkie talkies for floor judges next year?
