This might sound weird, but I love looking out windows during a rainstorm. Especially car windows, with the way the lights of the the cars around you become so beautifully distorted, and you listen to the sound of the wipers going back and forth as the rain falls outside.

Rain gives me an excuse to play inside though. That's a plus. But I'll take a sunny hike, day on the river, or a beach trip any day.

I agree about the playing inside. I feel less guilty about not going outside when it pouring out. I do feel like I wasted a day when I just sit inside when its gorgeous out like right now. The ocean is a bock away. I'm so lazy.

I work outside so too much of either is not really welcome. But if I have to choose, definitely rain, because rain doesn't give you skin cancer and I hate putting on sunscreen 3-4 times a day, 5 days a week.
