Did you speak to customer services about it first? You've got grounds for complaint if you cancelled because you were advised that it didn't come with Bayo 1.

I just got an email from Amazon confirming they upgraded my "standard edition" order to a "special edition" order.
Is the special edition also limited?

The impression I got from this thread was that most people were just waiting it out actually. Only a few people cancelled prematurely?
How did you get it? What did you do? I was told to cancel my original order too and they won't honor it for me now :/I cancelled after four different cs reps told me the issue has been already investigated and that no orders would be upgraded. Who could know they'd investigate the matter again? Anyway I finally got my free upgrade plus (for whatever reason) free shipping to Germany. Sweet

After a 30 minute chat I finally got the upgrade "as an exception". That was extremely tough to get (that poor rep must have been super annoyed at me in the end ), but I am happy I have finally gotten it as well.Just contact the customer service again. They finally know about the upgrades and will manually lower the price if you order the Special Edition.
EDIT:
I just explained the issue and asked for an upgrade, the cs rep checked everything and told me I should order again so that he could lower the price. Maybe they didn't had these orders yet, when you talked to them?

All editions of Bayo 2 (including the FPE) are now available on Mediamarkt.DE, for 50€, 60€, and 70€ respectively.
You can choose post delivery or local pick-up.
Just been on to Amazon who promised me a few days ago that if I reordered and the free upgrade happened, to get in touch and they'd honour it.
Initially it seemed like they weren't going to do it, despite me being told a few days ago they would. But after reiterating the process I'd been through and what I'd been told they got me to order the special edition then they'd adjust the price. They made a point of saying this was an exception to their usual policy. I imagine this Bayonetta fiasco has been a little nightmare for them really, what with everyone contacting customer support.
Now have the special edition for £31.85 Amazon customer support reigns supreme
