How did you guys start in the gutter? You were the favorites coming into the tournament.

Two years ago we'd just come off one of the biggest debacles in NZ sport over the last decade and were losing to pretty much everyone, including Bangladesh. This run really only started late 2013, when Taylor was in great form and Williamson and McCullum started living up to their potential.

And I say that's rubbish. McCullum can get us off to a good start but he's only one player and those starts aren't the difference between a win and a loss. If they were, we wouldn't win nearly as often as we have over the last year.
