Shop refreshes for the day now I'm up to owning 47 pairs of shoes and 48 hats. So close to a full set for those two and never having to visit that clownfish again...

Then I can think about adding slots buying the 20+ weapons I don't have.

I take it MrPanic lived up to his name and left when the other two did.

I have to wonder did Jacks disconnect or manage to be Luigi and win by doing absolutely nothing?

I just killed an entire team by myself on Port Mackrel. And then after they spawned, I killed 2 of them again. So I then see the same Roller guy I just killed twice back to back rolling towards me. And he looks at me, and just goes NOPE and turns around and rolls back the way he came from.

Ranked Battles just shows how dumb the whole lobby system is when one team actually has a variety of weapons while another team can all have the same weapon.

A team with a charger, roller, and shooter is going to win 9 times out of 10.

Fought a match yesterday that was 3 on 4. Didn't know you could do that but I guess its what happens if someone hard bails on a set. Held it close but I just couldn't snipe enough to protect the 2 rollers that I ended up with on my team. Lost, but the other team should feel shame we ever had the lead at any point.

Nothing like defending the middle splat zone for a stupid amount of time trying to distract the other team so your team mates can meet you with regular swimming only to finally die and see multiple "about to jump here" icons finally pop up where you once were. :lol

Woo, finally hit B-. Would have been there last night(probably) but I got comm error'd out of the match, so...

Really enjoying the Tentatek Splattershot now, especially with all the rollers and Aerosprays in ranked who aren't fast enough to flank me. The balance it has between range and paintability is nice, and the sub/special are decent. I might give the Pro another try though, now that I'm more comfortable with the aiming.

I think I might like the Splat Zones version of Arowana Mall better. The focus is still kind of on controlling the center, but I don't have to worry about rollers breaking through and rolling all over my team's half of the map. Port Mackerel is cancer in both modes.

It's strange, but there seems to be players that spam the hell out of jump. Almost as if they think it's required to re-enter into battle after dying.

I died, I HAVE to jump. Just no map awareness either.

SIGH, I could only reach B- and dropped down to C+. At least I know where I stand currently among other GAF players.

B- bros unite. It's like either I get in and tap into some inner TAS level zen mode and completely stomp the opposition with one or two teammates on the same wavelength or everyones scatterbrained as all hell and wasting resources while the other team applies derp to forehead.

Starting to think I shouldn't play ranked when Arowana Mall is in rotation. Short Range weapons get fucked over so hard there.

Exactly. That is my frustration. I get such extremes. Either we decimate the other team, or I get paired with a team that just falls apart and gets stomped. It's rarely in the middle (a close match).

Gah, you are tempting me. I've been lazily sticking to Splattershot Jr. But it's time to switch it up. I bought a Tenttatek Splattershot, Custom Jet Squelcer. I guess I'll add .96 and try that first.

Don't underestimate the rollers. I won a few ranked matches with all-roller teams. All you need is coordination and a LOT of beacons.

Also goddamn walleye 10th time in a row

I'm having a crisis myself with regards to weapons. I used Aero 99% of the time in Turf. Then Splattershot Jr. 99% of the time in Ranked. Butt now I'm going from gun to gun, trying to find a weapon that feels right.

Just tried .96 Gal and I loved it. My team just dominated. Might stick with this. Still want to try the Dual Squelcher given its range.

I love hunting beacons SO much in this game. It's like the game becomes a mini espionage mission I'm determined to win at all costs. :lol

Then you have moments where I'm so stressed out and want blood that I'll intentionally spend an inkstrike if available to nuke beacons on the pad.

Nah but seriously, you all have it good, especially against the fast shooter weapons since you brutally outrange us if we flub the first engagement in any way.

Did anyone else find ranked battles had a "C rank Getto", you know where because C is where all the not so good players are, you don't win as much as you feel you should?

I really like the .96 Gal but if your team isn't helping much with the ink spread it feels pretty useless. Its not bad in ranked, though.

In my last ranked game, my team was 3 e-liters and an aerospray. I wanted to try out my new e-liter, but I would have happily switched if given the chance. Needless to say, we were crushed handily. Really hope Nintendo realizes this is poor design and patches in the ability to switch weapon mid match.

I enjoyed it, but I'm starting to have trouble with it in Combat. Unlike the other weapons I've tried, it has a "gloopy" spread (you have to aim upward, it comes out in glops). It's also slow, so I was having trouble with it in combat in ranked.
