I, for one, am glad Sony hasn't capitulated to the terrible, limited taste of AAA-only peddlers.

A smart, varied, promising lineup this month.

Stay strong!

Would have rather had Guilty Gear Xrd, but this lineup isn't bad. Rocket League looks good but not really my thing, but I'm excited for Geo Wars 3 & I'll probably try Styx & Mousecraft (which looks like a fun cross between Lemmings & Tetris). I'd also be excited for Rain if I hadn't already played it (not amazing, but it was a decent cinematic puzzle/adventure game - liked it more than Contrast).

with that game only launching in the EU last month. no chance

Strap on your hooker ...
Geometry Wars 3 isn't cross-buy? Boo. Still, great addition if the Vita port's good.

Had a passing interest in Styx, Rocket League, and Entwined, so those are all gravy. Decent month, but it'd be nice to see a retail PS3 game in there at least.

I just a conversation with workmate saying that this month is trash, and that he would rather have Knack o Killzone:SF rather than even try Rocket League.

I am like "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??!"
I don't get the obsession with wanting dirt cheap launch titles as freebies. Give me new games like Rocket League any day.

Comparing pes and Fifa with this shows you know nothing about rocket league.

It means that if I want an arcade representation of football I don't go for rocket league, I just turn on my old Megadrive and play ISS Deluxe. I love football and I don't need football to be turn into cars playing football to make it exiting.

Another awful month. Then again I don't know what I was expecting to be fair. I guess I got excited after seeing Black Flag on Gold, and was expecting something of similar quality. The most interesting thing on that list being a Vita only game while Entwined is on both PS4/Vita... Why? Rocket League is not my thing, I don't know why people always feel compelled to shove their tastes down others throats just to make a point. Every single Plus thread.

People prefer to get garbage retail games instead of good indie games.

ahahaahahah.. very funny.

Strikes me how some people prefer to get garbage indie games instead of good retail games.

Pretty saddening.

Best wishes.

Retail = AAA = good. Haven't you heard!?

How much is a month of Gold? 5 quid?

Here's the Xbox One downloadable version of Black Flag for £3.79.

Bought rain awhile ago on sale and hardly played it.
Waited for Entwined to go to ps+ so that's awesome.
Rocket League was really fun when I played the beta so that's cool too.

Better month for me*
Apparently I just saw EU as a link and didn't see that NA got these aswell.

Not too shabby, honestly. Styx has been one of those "if I see it cheap" sort of games I've considered for a long while now.

For you.
You know there are a lot of indie/smaller games that are trash like a few on this list. Some of us would like good indie/smaller games.

Every single game on this list is great. Except for Rain which is just decent.

So that's a pretty darn terrible argument, sorry.

At first I was sad, then I saw some Rocket League videos and now I am happy.

Thank goodness Knack level trash stayed away for another month.

Retail games are clearly automatically better than everything

What am I going to spend my $20 Rocket League designated money on now???

People who haven't tried Rocket League and outright dismiss it as garbage must be the same type of people who buy $100 HDMI cables because they're "better" than other HDMI cables. (If it costs more, doesn't mean it's better, people)

No knack, no deal

But knack isn't very good... You'd rather have Knack than a superior game just because Knack had a larger budget behind it?

Now that I think about it, if rocket league would have been a 60 dollar game I still would have bought it- it's that good.

Me too. Day one. I probably put 50+ hours into the freaking beta.

People are really complaining about free Rocket League? This is my favourite PS+ in months for that alone. And Geometry Wars 3 and rain were both on my "grab in a sale" list so am incredibly happy. :)

Fact:

People hating on Rocket League or not caring for it have never played it

This is a $20 game free at launch, with a lot of excitement behind the gameplay. The beta rocked, the game is awesomely competitive, and the support is crazy-- split-screen 4 players, split-screen online, a season mode, PC/PS4 crossplay, a replay theater, tons of customization and unlocks.

This is besides the point too: the gameplay is crack.

I'm so happy that it's going to get insane exposure. Word of mouth is already pretty solid.
