I think he's got enough differences that he could justify being his own character. Combat diodes, spider-bots, giant spider-mech, flamethrower gauntlets; could easily make a compelling stand-alone character.

Spidey is already good though, I'd rather have a boost to a character I already like. Netmarble is no good at balancing.

Yeah I will use clear tickets if I don't have time but still have over 2K just from playing.
Too bad. But, you know, that was pretty unbalanced. Which is why I immediately started grinding it every single day until I got rank 6 Giant Man.
Dropping the Ally Shifter should just put him on par with the Guardians of the Galaxy characters and Yellowjacket.

Spent 90 odd of my energy doing the missions yesterday just to get our weekly count up a bit. Also needed a bunch of ingredients for leveling up a few of my new 40's so it's all worked out.
Need 1 more Bio for Vision to get him to 5*... Tomorrow muahaha..
And sitting on about 200/360 Bios for Yellowjacket 6* now. Still making the most of that Special.

Man, how many times a day are you guys running special mission to get all these Ant-Man character bios? I still haven't even unlocked my last character, let alone get any of them ranked up high.
Until the 10 pass per day limit ends for me. I wanna beef up Jan and Scott but I feel I'm too late, also need to level up my Carol-Nat-Steve trio.

I'm only running Yellowjacket (up to this point, it felt the best for me as the 4th one was easy + Ant-Man and Wasp Bios for Shifters).
So, 5 times, then the Unlimited (which I was running about 16-18 times in the 30mins before it expires), then another 5 times to max out the daily limit, then the Unlimited run again (so another 16-18 runs).
About 40-45 runs each day. Do it at night while me and the missus are watching TV haha..

10 runs and 2 unlimited runs. Everyone should do this IMO. It's the easiest way to advance and several of the characters are very good (Ronan, Yellowjacket, Giant Man, Nebula). My morning energy + the free refill is spent on this. Friend points go to refill, then get the daily achievements, and elite farm the rest of the time.
Who knows if they'll keep this going, they may retire the special missions and move them out to token shops, so I want to take advantage in case things change.

What, how? I do play the game but never have enough.
I'm uber paranoid about that, likely after the 3rd spical mission, they phase out the GOTG missions and a month later, the Antman stuff,.

I've wondered who out of the GotG's I was going to level up next, Nebula solid then?
My thinking too on this, get everyone I want up as high as I can in case they remove it all.

I have her at 4* with a 50% lighting damage item. She does a lot of damage, she's unsafe though. She still does well in VS. However, I don't know your team but if you don't have 6* Ronan, get him. He's top tier.

It's honestly a bit late to be fixing the balance, and it's made that mission an unfun crapshoot to play because sending a team that will get useful experience now randomly varies between being a bit easy and ludicrously hard.
I don't think they've done a very good job on that one.
Are Angela and Felicia the only really rare ones?
I did this too recently. I felt kinda dumb, but having all the characters seems like a good pursuit.
Yeah. Black Cat and Felicia can only be gotten randomly, basically. Everyone else can just be ground for in specific missions or Token Shops. Black Cat and Felicia only show up as Ally Shifters or places where you get random bios like chests and Villain Siege drops.

Make sure Ronan is the leader if you didn't when trying him out. He's insane at high levels and mastery. His leadership is the best in the game (6% All Attack & 6% All Defense to Universal characters per rank). He does a lot of damage thanks to his self buff and really hard hitting moves. He has an AOE fear with excellent range that hits very hard. His melee swipe is a great break that comes out very quickly and hits with a wide arc. His beam is decent, but prone to miss feared opponents (I always use it after the swipe since that attack causes flinch and aligns Ronan so he doesn't miss). He's got a lot of stats so the leadership buff is just overkill. His 4* passive is a 10% HP shield buff so he's got built in Bloodthirst (I run him with Bloodthirst anyway and a dodge special item so arena teams hardly ever get past him). Finally, he makes the best character (Age of Ultron Vision) better. Ronan + UniVision is all you need for all the content in the game. His one fault is his auto attack is slow and can miss feared opponents, but it hits multiple enemies so it's understandable why it's slow.
Special Mission folks too as well but you can get those via the shifters. Angela is really hard to get for me.

Has anyone else been getting an odd screen flicker in this game after the most recent update? Usually happens when you get to the main menu or out of a mission. I'm not noticing it in other games, which makes me think it's not an issue with my phone, but I want to make sure.
I get a flickr of text at times but that was before the update, right now, I just have the game freeze when I'm trying to do a mission.

Got my Princes Sparklefists her 4* mastery today. Time to start catching my Spidey and Venom up with her as their both 3* with a single mastery each.
For those with higher level characters, do you put much effort into leveling up gear and skills? I figure I should be making sure to keep those up with my character level. I assume that's what you all do, correct?

I don't really go past 11 for gear. Skills up to 30. Dimension fragments are a pain to farm. I can't afford that energy!
I figured as much. I don't pay enough attention to the numbers.
Well, my Captain Marvel isn't doing too bad then. Lvl 32 character with skills at lvl 26 and gear from 7-9. I really have to do some work on my other two mains though.

Okay so it's not just me, they both get super expensive past a certain point, right now I get stuck at level 9 for gear and ~20 for skills.

So what other Universal Character should I team up with him? Right now I just AoU Vision Ronin Leader and Capt Marvel. Should I switch Capt out for say Ultron or Black Bolt?

I use Captain Marvel because the team is already strong so you have some freedom and I <3 her. Most people swear by Ultron and they're right, he is the next best universal. I feel she does more damage and her skills are more reliable, but he is way tankier and that's more important. He's also a better stage clearer due to his auto attack hitting like a truck. However Ronan already stage clears and UniVision is even better at it.
I don't think it's a massive fall off in that team though. She actually brings something to the team with her full energy attack. I always use her against Vision in arena to get past his immunity. For clearing all content in the game, you can have those 2 + whomever you want and be OK.

Oh yeah for most of my characters I leave them at the exact same strength level; lvl 20 skills and lvl 9 gear. I only go past that on my main team and top tier characters who I use in VS or as strikers. It's really only a small handful. I have 11 5*s and only 7 of them have 10+ gear.

I should have beat VS 4 for the first time today but I fucked up by standing in Doc Ock's beams 3 times in a row because I got cocky/greedy, really frustrating as the first 3 went perfectly, I discovered that Black Widow can solo Destroyer really well. They should probably add more villains to fight, it's a bit lame that you fight the same 4 villains in 9 stages.
Also how am I supposed to get Wasp bios now? Are two of my main characters' bios seriously only available through tokens?

Yeah, they need to add some speed and blast villains to really make the whole cast viable in VS. Its lame that Blasters are the way to go for the most part.
Right now, I have 12 5* characters. I've decided that I'm just 100% done buying Bios. Even for characters I'm trying to raise up. I'll be saving all my crystals for uniforms because they are the only thing you can't get from just playing the game. And I anticipate that I'll want a lot of their future uniforms seeing as how good the most recent ones have been.

Got my 2nd 5* hero last night with Vision.
Was so pissed, did the Elites and ended up on 159/160 haha.. Got lucky with a Vision Bio from Villain Siege though. Now to grind him up to 45!

Yes! I love him and I have him already I can probally 4 star him quickly now.
