Thanks for the heads up about Nintendo customer service. Called them at the start of the last hour, and it took almost a half hour and been placed on hold like 3 times so some info can go through (zip code and all), but I got a code.:D

Getting these legendaries and stuff would feel so much cooler if there hadn't been ways for people to clone and hack all these years. I know that they fixed it so that badly hacked guys can't be banked or brought over to the new games, but I don't think there is anything they can do about clones.

It just would be so cool if there were pokemon that were actually rare, ya'know?

I grabbed Mew early in the month, but I was chatting with the Gamestop manager yesterday and he gave me the awesome 20 year poster! He also told me they ran out of Mew's in 4 or 5 days!!!!!

My son collects Pokémon cards, it would just be a nice little novelty for him to be able to physically collect the set even if the cards were useless otherwise.

I'm not a huge fan of Gamestop, I mean i'd go to whatever story necessary to get the cards for my kiddo but if it were JUST Gamestop it's not like it would be that big a deal would it?

I guess it would be cool to offer both physical and Wi-Fi codes for every month for those that don't have access to Gamestop :)

Honestly, after going to three gamestops by me and having all 3 be out of the codes, I said screw it and bought one for $5 on eBay. Dude even took a picture for me. Sure, I guess I spent money on something that could've been free, but I'll just pack a lunch tomorrow instead of buying one and be even. Would've been more upset if I didn't get one at all, been waiting YEARS for a legit Mew.

What's the difference between this Mew and one you can get in the games? Just that this one is max levelled with special moves?

It really sucks to have no mew code to get a legit blue pentagon mew. It is sort of my fault for waiting until the last week to drive 1 hour or so to eb games though. I asked on serebii and well nobody really had any up for free. I guess I'll try gamefaqs and get a clone. Better than nothing *shrug*

My local BR here didn't have any codes and didn't know what I was talking about - did you manage to get one anywhere? I'm not sure if she was just ill-informed or not all BR stores have them. D:

The BR I went to had the codes behind the counter, hidden in a cabinet.

chandelure, swampert, and gengar are probably my next 3, not that it matters.

they run out at really, really uneven rates across different locations. i think it was the diancie one where my friends were able to find them at an out of the way gamestop a couple weeks after the closest one had run out.

find some less-conveniently-located ones and call to see.

I was unable to get one even before yesterday.

Sucks about no more codes via Nintendo CS.

If anyone has a spare NA Mew, I would greatly appreciate it.
