Rösti is clearly fucking with us by posting such a vague comment, he's probably sitting back laughing at the reactions and loving the attention.
That's really not Rosti's style tbh

So some random guy on Reddit might just have leaked Nintendo's biggest guarded secret.
If it's the handheld, it's dead on arrival.
What's the appeal in this ?
This is the very definition of gimmick.
It's Rosti, he's not anybody.
I know what the HEX means. But it's unclear if he meant it shouldn't have been exposed because it's an outdated prototype or if it's the real thing.
If he knows something he might as well just say it or shut up.

Why would they? Them taking it down now would 100% confirm it's real.I'm still waiting for Nintendo ninjas to take down those pics

Wouldn't "some random guy on Reddit" be the most likely individual to leak this kind of thing? It's not gonna be Cliffy B on Twitter, is it?

DammitAgain, I will LOL if it is Ubisoft again leaking things.
I think it was FourthStorm who made a good point about these sticks looking super clickable and squishy, which would be beneficial given the lack of physical buttons.
Considering there are no grips on this thing, and Nintendo have a history with add-ons, I'm willing to be that we are missing something from the equation. We discussed in the other threads an attachment like the Circle Pad Pro that adds grips and physical buttons. Why not?
Talking about hyperbole...
Nah, Wii U gamepad it's very confortable... For a controller of that size, it's quite an achievement.
How about you take a step back from shouting "WII U 2!!!" and consider that this might very well be their next handheld.Nintendo really does do whatever they want and everybody else can fuck off.
This just seems like them ignoring almost all of the criticisms of the Wii U and decided to give it another go.
Again, we don't know how it'll be handled or if this is the final device if it's real.
I don't think Nintendo would release a device whose controller wouldn't work for Mario or Zelda. Heck, the patent specifically references Zelda.
I think most folks here are upset because they wanted a regular video game box with a lot of power but who's to say this can't also be that?
If this thing has no physical face buttons, or something that provides the exact same level of tactile feedback/precision as physical face buttons, I'm out.
This brings literally zero advantage over anything that ever come out before it. The only thing it has going for it is the novelty of a free-form display, which will get old really quick.
Please be fake.
Afaik, he doesn't ,but knows devs/people. He is trustable. So, does Rösti work for Nintendo or some third party? I mean, in what way is he/ would he be in the know?
Yeah, that would be streisand-territoryEh, it's on the internet. It's done. You think Nintendo can just erase it from the internet? Oh sweet summer child.
How well did N64 work? So it was so good it carried over to their next console right? NOPE.
Gamecube though carried over to Wii for use on games.
Maybe the buttons have screens on them.
Mind blown.
Man, please don't let this be real. LMAO.
That would be ridiculous of Nintendo to put this out and require you to buy grips. Because without grips this controller would be a cramping nightmare placing your hands on the lower parts of the oval.
Prototype, innit.I still think it's fake.
