I do find it funny that the most humorous scenes in this manga are the small asides and not any of the big jokes. I laughed out loud at her throwing the sword under the floor and the quick speech bubble of Nukoduke in the background twice.

For me, the boring parts were mainly when the manga focused on characters besides the two leads. They weren't necessarily bad but I only read this for Hori and Miya moments. I really enjoyed the parts involving the two leads.

I think that the mangaka wanted to show the relationship of a "normal" couple. It doesn't need to exist but for those that want more fluff between the two and see how they act as girlfriend/boyfriend it is welcome. But yes, it needs to end soon.

Godannar is an anime but it's one example off the top of my head, the leads get married in the first episode.

Ore Monogatari is a shoujo series, but it has the main characters getting together by the end of volume 1 and it's up to 12 volumes so far in Japan.

I take incredible umbrage with the idea that not writing ongoing relationships or not having the end point of a story be when they get together being the only way to write about romance, relationships or whatnot. It's really narrow-minded and limits a lot of storytelling you can do. Just have them get together in that shonen. Or show the consequences of people's romantic decisions. Or the trials and tribulations of going out. Life doesn't fucking become smooth sailing once you start dating.

If Madoka Kaname had known of the tragic transformation that would mark the end of her magical girl journey, how would her story have unfolded? In this telling of the story, Madoka remembers the outcomes of her previous timelines - but so does Kyubey. Even with the knowledge of her previous lives, can Madoka outmaneuver Kyubey and avoid her fate?

Aaand I got baited again. After the first chapter I figured this was going to be a light-hearted retelling where HomuMado and Kyubey play Stratego against each-other, but that lasted until around... episode 3. Instead I get to see Homura put through the suffering wringer for the nth time. True, that element is partially why I love the franchise, but I'd rather it happen to anyone other than her. Anyway, this was essentially just more traditional Madoka material, with enough deviations from the canon timeline to keep things both uncertain and compelling. If you love the parent story (I do) then you'll likely love this (I did).

Homura's the centre of attention for the entire manga and manages to partially salvage a terrible timeline, but I knocked off half a point because she does technically die, albeit briefly.

Seems Hisoka is fucked. I thought 'find Hisoka and wait to explode on him' seemed like kind of a complex command for the Stamp, especially when we saw Chrollo use Black Voice for a similar timed move before. I guess maybe because he wouldn't know the name of the 'target' before.

Last line of the chapter seems to imply that Hisoka will use a new technique with some sort of suicide restriction. Wonder what it could be, he's not an enhancer like Gon and I doubt he's hiding a jacked up form like Biscuit via transmutation.

4-komedy spinoff in which the titular heroine, Akemi Tamura, travels through a succession of bizarre alternate timelines. Comedic variants of serious series aren't usually my cup of tea, to the extent that I almost didn't pick this up. Good thing I changed my mind, since it's genuinely hilarious and oddly touching at times. Each chapter has a different setting that largely dictates the success of the humour, but the ideas are generally clever enough and/or sufficiently well-utilised that there's rarely a dud moment. Naturally you need to be familiar with the source material to appreciate it fully. Definitely recommended for fans of the franchise.
