Did I fight that thing in Bloodborne?

Dems control all three branches of government in 2020 if Trump doesn't install himself as dictator or start a nuclear war by that point.

Only if RGB and the others manage to hold the fort. Otherwise say hi to your Regressive Overlords, cuz aint no one gon b left to strike down whatever fuckery the crazies come up with by then.

Everyone I know, myself included and all my strongly political friends, seem to have gotten tired of following the latest Trump news. It's not the same as becoming complacent, but it's like we don't have the energy anymore to react to the latest Trump garbage and that's saying something because some of my friends are hardcore politicos. At the same time this feeling doesn't bode well for Hillary either, it's more like a general drag on the whole political mood. Of course she's got our votes but the energy and the discussions are just dead right now.

But won't the food all be radiated and bad to eat? Except Twinkies. They'll be fine.

Sure twinkies look frivolous, fun and eternally youthful. But eventually they grow old and turn into haggard bitter old queens...wait what are we talking about again?

The first African-American U.S. president then told the group of donors why he thought a woman had never held the office.

"There's a reason why we haven't had a woman president," he said. "We as a society still grapple with what it means to see powerful women. And it still troubles us in a lot of ways, unfairly. And that expresses itself in all sorts of ways."
...
"This should not be a close election, but it will be," Obama said. "And the reason it will be is not because of Hillary's flaws, but rather because, structurally, we've become a very polarized society," he said.

Do all Canadians know each other? Is that why you like Canadian Big Brother - because you know the contestants personally? What's Nina Dobrev like?
Haven't met anyone from BBCan but I probably could've when I lived in Toronto. Now that I'm in California, though...

Why are Trump and Hillary meeting with Sisi.

Sisi is a two-bit dictator, a horrible mass murderer, and is a terrible ally who doesn't help the U.S. in any productive way.

I don't understand why the U.S. continues to help these Middle Eastern countries that say they're aligned with us in goals when these countries are lead by people dumber than actual shit. Saudi Arabia and Egypt are ruled by terribly stupid people right now so they don't even make sense as allies even if you're 100% sociopath.

Looks like the new UKIP leader is a Putin bootlicker too.

Hey, on the subject of "nationalism," I'm guessing the moderators are going to ask the candidates about the national anthem protests.

Honest (really dumb) hypothetical: Heaven forbid, if Donald Trump was elected president, what would be the one positive outcome of his presidency?

I've been trying really hard lately to think of anything, and all I can come up with is it would energize the liberal/sane side of the country.

On whatever stuff he's more moderate on than congressional Republicans, he might be able to drag a few republicans to vote with democrats, while hillary would face a brick wall on almost anything. Little hard to tell what policies Trump is moderate on after all the flip flopping, but he doesn't seem to be a true believer in the entirety of the republican platform.

That's assuming he doesn't just let Pence and other republican advisers take complete control over almost everything while he only focuses on the racial stuff that's been his primary political focus the past 5 years.

Saw in the last thread that giga wanted to donate $200 to Pat McRory. Was that serious? If so, I'll donate $200 to Roy Cooper to cancel it out.
