So this strange cat thing suddenly started to appear and I have no idea why it is there or how to get rid of it.

Part of the main story, dedsec has been hacked so your screen is 'being hacked'

Do the next story mission (H4CKED I think? ) to get rid of it

man is the
congressman missions too real. Ended up being depressed for an hour lol.

Is there an ingame statistics or something to give an idea on how many missions I have left?

kinda want to get back to ff15.

It's weird but based off how well this game handles characters and the location.. I'd kind of be down for another Aiden game just to see them make that character interesting. Or at least everyone around him. Which is a huge endorsement for WD2's writing because fuck Aiden.

Though really they should just give me the Jordi experience that I truly want. And not as a companion DLC.

Pretty sure playing this games multiplayer on Xbox breaks something on the console itself with networking. Anytime I am playing multiplayer and it decides to stop working randomly and will search for 5+ minutes with no results, when I quit the game and try and restart it, I am greeted with this message.

If I try and load the game again, typically it will work just fine, but usually what also happens is my console will want to act like it isn't online anymore, and I get this

And this isn't just limited to Watch Dogs 2 acting like I am not online after the multiplayer quits working. Here is what happened when I tried loading Battlefield 1 after Watch Dogs 2 multiplayer stopped working.

No idea what PS4 is like, but I've read people having similar issues on both consoles. Fix your shit, Ubi.

So... (story spoiler)
I just met Ray and had the acid trip in the desert

How far am I from the end of the game? If I go straight for it and skip the optional missions?

Just finished.. the credits are rolling .

I liked it ... Aside with a big problem with horacio , everything else was excellent.

Mass system crash ..why didn't i unlock you earlier ? This is so good lol.
I liked it. The story was good and the pay off intresting The story didn't go too high in the nonsense it didn't lost the focus on the fun stuff.

It's a fun game. Now i just hope that the side activities will keep me occupied.

EDIt : DAMN those credits ARE LONG ...it's been 12 minutes and it's not over yet !! How many people worked on this damn game !!

EDIT 2 : 20 minutes of credits lol ... Yeah it's a ubisoft game.

What does Mass System Crash does exactly? What's the advantage of killing all the systems? Like... Does it unlock the doors or something?

Overall good game with a couple of minor annoyances.. Fix multiplayer and then i'll recommend it to my friends :)

does mass city crash do anything in the day? I don't recall it being that useful in 1 so ive not gotten it in 2 yet.
It's still usefull if you have no other mean of stopping someone reinforcements. It's very usefull at night and yes , less usefull during the day

Mass system crash make every system useless during some seconds and kill the lights. killing the lights reduces the line of sight of every ennemy except the dogs.
You have to unlock the doors first ( with the camera for exemple ) , before activating it.

There was a mission that made me against a big flow of ennemies and i had to escape, i used mass crash , and hid on a corner , every ennemy went past me and i escaped without trouble, undetected

Fuck... I just checked a walkthrough and looks like I'm only halfway through the game (well according to the number of main operations in the game anyway)...

I love the game but I kinda want to play FFXV right now lol.

I'm about to start
Hacker War

that final mission was something...

wrench
part was freaking terrible. eventually won somehow, but it wasn't elegant.

also annoying as hell that i invested so much points into anti car chase tech but theres really no major end game car chase.

Also the ending... I'd love someone to interview ubisoft folks for this game. It really does seem like
horatio stuff was added late in production. The lack of any mention of him after his death is mindboggling. Like he was erased from their memory.

Man, this game really doesn't get enough credit for its (detailed) viewing distance. It is amazing.

Yeah it's great, but that's also what it makes it run so bad on PC, among other things. Of course it's future-proof but I would have prefered something less for a better framerate.

Playing on PC, it is scalable and the screenshot I took is far away from ultra settings. Some people tend to set everything to the max. and then complain about bad performance. You can easily outperform the consoles with mid range pcs in this here. or you can set most stuff to ultra and lock it to 30. No matter what, you'll get the better experience.

Doing the paintjob/ grafitti missions now. Shist gets tedious.

Not sure what the last main mission was.

You should look for the larger orange icons on the map screen. If there are none, you may just need to complete some larger sideops. There may be a follower count you need to pass to continue.

That's what I am doing actually, except when I am taking screenshots. Only problem is there are gonna always be framerate dips, no matter how I modify the settings. Maybe I still did not find the proper balance. Anyway, new forceware driver seem to give a better framerate, feels more stable. No more tech stuff now, wrong thread. :D

The FBI Operation quest, was enjoyable. Had a strategy in the station area, slip in the side entrance where there isn't many agents. Think i knocked out a total of 4 agents (1 on the roof for my hiding spot, 2 at the side entrance and 1 inside by Wrench's mask). Moving onto an operation involving Ray
.

It's getting a little tedious now, seemingly it's a similar pattern in terms of missions
get to a location, hack a terminal/computer and leave
. It's a decent game none the less.

I'd love to see a perfect stealth playthrough of the final part of the final level. It seems hard but possible, but I didn't have the patience of the risk of redoing a large part of it due to the lack of checkpoints (ubisoft pls).

it was 2am so I ended up just calling gang hits + dropping IED's from my drone to clear the joint.

I probably should have used blackout lol.

When you are in the final location? Yeah. Using those massive comms or massive blackout is really helpful if you want to get through. I only bothered with stealth in the first part before. The next couple of interactions with enemies I decided to use weapons

oh yeah, id love to watch a 'proper' playthrough of the
wrench
section in the finale.

Maybe my aiming skills are shit, but i found it impossible to rambo as the game intended? I just ended up calling gang hits one after another, even during the 'downloading....' phase.

You really should have a health upgrade research tree, unless I missed that option. You are too squishy in this.

The game basically indicates to go full rambo indeed, but after about 8 tries and getting DESTROYED within seconds I just did the usual of flanking around, taking guards down with melee or environmental takedowns.

Such a weird little sequence.

Yep. I actually tried hacking at first but didn't hide well enough and ended up in a firefight quickly. Tried to go crazy with it and it was worthless so I just acted like Marcus and meticulously hacked and set up traps. Only shot and called gang hits when it was unavoidable and they had backup or something.

I'm having the same issue after playing WD2.

I get this same message after restarting WD2 (or starting any other game) and after one failure it usually works correctly. I was trying to play Hitman after WD2 last night and it would not load - wonder if it's a related issue.

I'm stumped how you get these research points near the bay. Both are near each other and they are under the pier/ boardwalk .

Cannot find vents or anything .

If those are the ones I think they are then you can get the RC or quad copter into the pipes that extend into the water under the shops/boardwalk/pier to get them. They are inside the pipes. For one (or more?) Marcus might be able to actually sort of run into the pipe and hack it from a small distance.

It's the 2 around the Ferry Building area (number 24 on this map)

Yep. There is some trash blocking it so inch Marcus over there and lob a ied. Or if you have the upgrade send your drone over there and drop ied.

Have an in game screenshot by any chance? I think it is what Jeffrey mentioned and it has trash in the way but that is in the pipe undernearth. I don't know if I'm thinking of the right area. I can't remember the puzzles based on the map picture unfortunately. But I might recall seeing it in game. I could double check when I get home from work tonight though.

That is probably the right way to do it. I don't think I used an IED to reach anything but it was a lot harder to force a drone in there to hack

Yeah I thi k I've put enough time in to this now to make a judgment. Watch Dogs 1 is the better game. Watch Dogs 2 has more enjoyable characters and story, but all in all I prefer the gameplay and overall design of Watch Dogs 1 by a fair margin.
