Plus, since Crazy Diamond can instantly nullify SHA and send it back to Kira's exact location, Josuke could find out where he was.

Just finished trying to figure out how to not owe taxes...IRS be like:

A good JoJo game would need to be a somewhat technical but still easy to understand fighter. 1v1, with no dumbass partner AIs. 60FPS is critical; bring down the resolution if necessary. And a balanced roster, instead of an overinflated one; EOH suffers from terrible character balance because it's so obscene. A lot of those characters are just flat-out garbage, like Kira and Valentine.

Semblance

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
I want a Jojo game like that Fist of the North Star fighter from AWS.

e: you know, minus the balance issues. Even if some of the dumb shit in that game is hilarious.

It's possible if CC2 learns from their mistakes, doesn't re-invent the wheel (pick ASB or EOH) and takes online seriously. I love ASB but if they mess up again then that's 3 times and yeah it's time to give a different developer a chance.

it just actually needs to be Ultimate Ninja Storm style with a heavy focus on storytelling and cinematic cutscenes

there should also be a one piece game like this made by CC2

EoH was /close/ but if they would make it more like Anarchy Reigns then it would be one of the best JoJo games ever. For 2D just give it to ArcSys and put it on the Xrd Engine and just do an Persona fighter again

Problem is there is no other dev who can make a JoJo game that captures the essence of the series so effectively. The only issue is the gameplay and performance, really.

Adachi has nothing on Kira though. "I just want to kill bitches and whores, while living a quiet life like a plant."

People would call it a P4 ripoff, even though Persona 4 borrowed the JoJo playbook. It's a shame.

Jojo is well known enough at this point that anybody who called it a Persona rip-off would get laughed out of the internet

The minute they introduced Stands they went entirely unoriginal ( I mean hello????????? have you ever heard of persona, only the biggest rpg series ever made?)

also JOSEPH IS THE BEST JOJO AND I HATE THAT THEY ASSASSINATED HIS CHARACTER IN PART 3

and even then hamon is just a ripoff of nen from hunter x hunter

yeah and when SDC came out, anybody who wasn't either already stupid or trolling understood that Jojo came first

all that stuff didn't actually happen on any widespread scale

Cc2 and platinum games collaborate on a new jojo game
The roster could be smaller but pong as the gameplay is good that's fine
Also it has to have foo fighters

Platinum Games wouldn't really fit with anything in Jojo.
They should make a goddamn Samurai Jack game, though.

Have a CC2 and Capcom collab!

When you think about it, experiencing jojo for the first time is like brad and janet entering dr fank-n-furter's reidence in rocky horror picture show

I'm tired so I'm assuming this is a joke. A bad joke, *wags fist angerly*

But seriously, JoJo should be an adventure game/puzzle game. Or dumb mingame collection maybe?

That's so on the money I want to give you a dollar.

Yeah I want an adventure/puzzle game too! Just imagine all the stuff you can design around stands. Things like range limits alone can spit out a ton of tricky puzzles!

An open-ended puzzle system combining range limits, strength limits, and stand abilities would be fucking amazing.

maybe not Telltale? (loving the CC2 collab idea though!) Might just be me, but I've stopped caring for their stuff in recent years. Double fine might be good, though I doubt they know what JoJo is. Can't think of any other adventure game makers tbh...

I'd personally want something like an isometric layout, not a regular point-and-click adventure game. Makes things like stand ranges easier to visualize, and you could set it up to control the stand and user simultaneously.

I'd be down with isometric. It would even work with a party. You've got a little stand button where you apply the power and you've got to think about how your stand and your allie's interact in the environment...

Shit, we are making someone some mad money here and they don't even know it.

Yeah like, for example, have Josuke and Koichi in a team, and make it so that you have to switch between them to exploit Echoes and Crazy Diamond's different ranges and abilities to progress through an area. It'd be great!

Over the last few years I heard about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure through the internet and also from a co-worker that always talked about it, so I finally decided to watch the anime over the past week. I just started Part 3 a couple of hours ago and I'm loving the series so far.

Welcome to the fandom!

As a point of warning, I should note this is the manga thread (the manga is currently on Part 8) and the thread is full of spoilers for all JoJo, so if you want to stay unspoiled, this thread probably won't help lol.

There is an anime thread, though (which is kinda all over the place since Season 4 ended lol).

They should've confirmed Vento Aureo today.

It's the fourth of February, and it's been 44 days since Vento Aureo ended.

Vento Aureo ended before it began. Is this the work of Gold Experience Requiem?

Or if it isn't, then Araki sure finished Parts 6 and 7 very quickly.

I know this thread is littered with spoilers for every part of the manga and anime so I won't be in here much, but I've been watching JoJo's a lot recently and am currently up to episode 5 of Stardust Crusaders. I'm loving it so far. I may even attempt some cosplay at some point.

You're know, JoJoveller isn't THAT expensive. The biggest issue is that I won't be able to read shit. For example, I'd probably have to look up some Stand names because I forgot their names.

JoJo 6251 is pretty neat (and I like how it's just about as old as I am) but perhaps I may have been better off waiting on shipping JoJoveller or even JoJo A-Go!Go!

Hiragana and katakana aren't actually that difficult to learn. If you practiced for a few hours every day with each category of phonetic sounds, you could have it down in a few weeks. Kanji's trickier. That takes months of studying for the most common ones.
