Just picking up the Switch and Breath of the Wild at launch.

Will pick up an SD card, Splatoon 2 and a Pro Controller over the summer. I'm in school so there's little time for me to play this thing until then anyways.

You know they have right to take the money back? Which they probably will once someone reports their 1.9k missing.

Hah, I was just putting my tax repayments into monopoly language, don't worry it's all legal. Still, I didn't count on that 2k disposable income. It will all be going into the Switch(es).

Because I tend to go a little crazy at console launches, I have the basic Switch + Pro Controller + BotW.

Add to that:
PDP Deluxe Carrying Case
Super Bomberman R
Binding of Isaac
BotW Master Editon (with GameStop tax)
Neon Blue Joy-cons
Neon Blue wrist straps
Neon Red Joy-cons
Neon Red wrist straps
Charging Controller (although I may just buy the charging stand)

Nintendo Switch - 380€
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition - 100€
Super Bomberman R - 50€
PDP Zelda System Case - 20€

So, 550€ total. Probably the most I have used on a gaming machine stright away. Then again, even if I had bough a system at launch before, I didn't care for Limited Editions before. I only began collecting them a few years ago.

Switch - £280
Zelda - £80 (limited edition)
Pro Controller - £60
Case - £15
Amiibo - £65

£500ish in total, may also buy another game so could be a little higher.

Keeping it lean...

Neon switch (£280)
Zelda (£40.80)
Carry Case (£20)
£340.80

BUT! Already paid off £105 of the switch, and the case and Zelda are all paid off
So £175 on launch day. Going to wait until Mario Kart to get a second controller I think.

Switch (460$ CAD)
Zelda Special Edition (119$ CAD with prime)
Pro Controller (104$ CAD)

But I sold my Wii U and some games for 400$ so it won't be that bad.

I'm going in about as big as I possibly could with this launch. I'm getting a Switch for myself, but my girlfriend and I are also getting one for a young leukemia patient who is super excited for the Switch.

The little boy is going to get a Switch, a second joycon pair, a charging grip, and 1-2 Switch or Bomberman. Someone else has stepped in to cover a copy of Zelda here.

I'm getting the console, a Pro Controller, a 200gb Micro SD card, BOTW Master Edition, and Binding of Isaac.

I'm planning on going mostly digital but I did get a GCU discount on a few of those games, so the final tab is around $1050 after tax. Thankfully my girlfriend and I had both saved for the initial launch so we are able to make this work. It sounds like the boy's family is going to set up a surprise party to give him the Switch, so we are super excited for the launch and believe it will be well worth the price tag.

Just canceled my pre-order for the system. I'm not going to have time for it.

I'm now just at $130+- as I'm keeping my Master Edition Statue.

I'm undecided on actually opening it and selling the game or keeping it sealed.

R/B neon Joy-con, BotW Gaurdian amiibo, 2year GCU - $105.54 (Best Buy)
BotW Zelda, Archer, Rider, Bokoblin, 8bit Link, 8bit classic MARIO, USB power stick, 2y GcU - $81.26 (Best Buy)

I originally posted i was getting the system and BotW and 1,2 switch.

well BotW and 1-2, switch was gifted to me, so i grabbed bomberman.

Now i'm debating, if i want to get an SD card ($70), stand ($13), lan adapter ($30), and carrying case($20)......

Switch Console - £279.99
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild - £42 (praise be to Amazon)
Official carry case - £16

I'm tempted to pick up a Pro controller, but the price is putting me off slightly.

Mine has changed.

I traded in my ps4 and games for the system, so here's how it looks for me.

Switch: $149 out of pocket, rest out of trade
Pro Controller: paid with trade in credit
1-2-Switch: $41 after tax
Zelda: haven't gotten yet, as I'm hoping for a day 1 pickup of Special Edition. If so, $83 after tax, if not $50 after tax.
$55 in eshop credit: free because of existing gift cards.

So, all together, probably $273 if I get Special Edition Zelda, $240 if regular edition Zelda.

Seriously, though. The console just needs to launch. Having everything paid for already makes me want to spend more on other stuff, and I know my wife won't be cool with that.

Switch $299
Zelda $60
Maybe a screen protector $15
A low pro sleeve case if that exists $30 at most I hope.

I want those extra joycons grips but I dunno yet.

Switch: $300
Zelda deluxe: $100
Pro controller, screen protector, charging grip, w/Best Buy Visa promo: $88
Carrying case: $15

So a bit over $500 (and tax) but that could change if I can find a red/blue Joy Con set.

Well hello there, stranger.

Based on phones, go with tempered glass. That's what I'll be doing. If you drop it face down, the glass will *hopefully* take most of the blow, and not crack your screen.
Oh hai! Sweet thanks for the response! Only used glass for my Vita room so I don't have too much experience with it but yeah that sounds best.

I would love to buy 2 Switches. Have a grey and neon on pr-order. Dunno what to do. Cancel one? Keep both? A set of spare joycons is expensive, a spare dock is 90. Seems not rational and you can only play one console, but damn I love the way the Switch looks.

I still find it strange that we don't have confirmation (yet) on whether Binding of Isaac will make it at launch. Developer says they're expecting it to be March 3rd, but retailers show it two weeks out thereafter. Either way, my day one pickup has changed since I last posted in this thread. I had Super Bomberman R preordered but was not impressed with all the videos I've seen, so I cancelled it.

Switch (grey) - $324
Zelda: BotW SE - $86
1-2 Switch - $32 (Best Buy Visa Checkout promo)
Binding of Isaac - $26 ( Best Buy Visa Checkout promo)
Pro Controller - $0 (had Amazon credit)
Official Carrying Case + Screen Protector - $0 (had Amazon credit)

So $468 total. I'm also picking up a Switch for my brother, so here's his haul:

Switch (grey) - $324
Zelda: BotW - $39 (Best Buy Visa Checkout promo)
Pro Controller - $76

$439 for him. $907 between the both of us. Unless a good deal for a 128gb or 200gb microSD card comes around, I'll probably wait to get one as I'm not going full digital.

Switch 460
Zelda SE 149.50
Pro Controller 103.50
Screen Protectors 18.4

731.40 CAD incl. tax so far. Traded a bunch of stuff to keep the cost down though. I hate our dollar.

Joy Con Charge Grip - $30 x 2 (for the additional Joy Con's)

PDP Zelda Earbuds - $20 or PDP Lvl 3 Stereo Headset - $40

Sold my Wii u and games for $260

So grey switch + Zelda basic = $130

Not too shabby. I have $40 credit on Amazon so might pick up an accessory or two.

The Amazon prices (Switch, BOTW and screen protectors) are not entirely accurate since Amazon will start collecting tax in Oklahoma on March 1st.

Switch - $399.99
Zelda BOTW Master Edition - $103.99
HORI Screen Protector - $19.99
Orzly Tempered Glass Screen Protector - $9.99
BOTW Amiibos - $72.17

Also ordered my first Loot Crate since this months Loot Crate Gaming features BOTW and also the BOTW DX Edition Nendoroid (but that's not until June).

I wish the Orzly would arrive on day one but since it probably won't arrive until at least a couple weeks after launch I decided to get the HORI one for now. Once the Orzly one arrives I will either switch the HORI one for it (depending on how I feel about the HORI one) or save it until later this year. I have been thinking about getting a 2nd Switch around Fall/Winter (which I'd use the Orzly screen protector one, if I don't replace the HORI with it) for my cousins kids who often come over to play the PS4, 3DS and other videogames I have.

299.99 for the switch.

Anything else just depends on Virtual Console honestly.

My first game purchase will either be ARMS or Puyo Puyo Tetris, whichever comes first.

I'm getting the Switch + Zelda and Isaac from Amazon. Total (w/ Prime discounts) was about 400.

Sucks that Isaac probably isn't a launch title anymore, though....
