So, I never looked at the spoilers, but are they coming true? I don't want to know what they were but just wondering.

a lot of them but there are a few that i don't see how they could happen tbh. but this show breezes through the fuckery so maybe there's enough time in the last 4 eps to do them

also after this ep I really like Archie/Cheryl.

It's weird Ethel didn't know Veronica's last name until the hospital visit.

I think Luke Perry has grown as an actor.

I might be remembering that scene wrong, but I think she knew Veronica's last name, but was not aware that Lodge Industries is the reason her family went bankrupt.

This, she didn't react when the last name was said. Only when her mother explained

Amazing that Archie is so naive he couldn't see through such obvious bribes, even if his intentions in accepting them were pure.

Just about died when Cheryl called Fred DILFy
Not wrong though

Show has no right being so good, can't wait for next week.

Promo based spoiler:
Molly Ringwald as Mary gonna be good

Also, I want to add. I really like how this show is tieing up plot points from past episodes into this one.

Veronica helping Ethel and the other girls.

Archie being nice to Cheryl and giving her mother the jacket.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some points, and I'm sure the rest of the season will have a few more callbacks like this.

Watching Episode 9 now

- Veronica is very intuitive. Glad she's getting some focus in this episode.
- SO MANY REDHEADS WEARING RED
- Cheryl is serving looks in this episode. She might snatch Veronica's fashionista crown away
- This is a fun episode. Everybody is using Archie. Even though I liked Alice as a villain, her being an overbearing weirdo is just as good.
- Veronica's pearl ripping scene gave me multiple Batman Martha Wayne flashbacks haha
- Archie is a bit of a fuck boi. The "what are you doing?" after Cheryl kissed him. Boy, you know damn well when someone is in your Make Out Zone. Fred...also got some some fuck boi in him.

Jughead and especially his dad are the most entertaining to watch. Hopefully we get more of that stuff in the future. Skeet Ulrich is dope in here

Also I was firmly team Veronica but I gotta be honest...cheryl is the finest of them all. A shame she's such a shit but god damn I get Jessica Chastain vibes from her look. Whew

I love this show so much, too bad there are only four episodes left this season. Any word on jow many episodes they'll do for season 2? I hope at least 18.

I hope Kevin becomes a main character next season and they should really ditch the pussycats. It doesn't look like they have any idea what to do with Josie, she had her mean dad story but other than that she just shows up occasionally, Valerie is cool but she seems to be done now that she's broken up with Archie and the third pussycat might as well not exist, her job is literally to be the third one because there are three pussycats in the comics, she does nothing at all!

Agreed 100%. Not to mention how Moose, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton basically don't exist until the plot needs to trot them out for a scene or two and then shoves them back into obscurity. Or Kevin making out with Joachim at the drive in, then never coming up again until several episodes later, when the plot required it, apparently now in a semi-real relationship. Really liking the show, but hopefully legacy characters are integrated and better utilized in that regard next season.

I wonder if the Josie vs Kevin being a main character thing was about more about retaining the actress than the actual role of the characters, since once you've got Josie and the Pussycats in the show then Josie kind of becomes an immovable object that would be awkward to deal with if the actress moves on. This seems to be Casey Cott's first role so perhaps they thought they could get away with leaving him with a recurring guest role for now.

Ended up watching this one late, this episode was soapy af haha. Probably the soapiest so far. A lot of fun, of course. Love it when the Blossoms are involved.

Did anyone notice the snake sound in the background at the end of the scene where Mr. Blossom convinced Archie to go to the dinner? I burst out laughing.

I believe the pussycats are confirmed to be around for a while as I remember reading Veronica will be in the lineup in future episodes.

So I don't normally keep up with shows like this, but is it just me or is this surprisingly good? The plot isn't exactly complex and there have been predictable moments, but the characters a really likable. Some really good acting. I watch it every Friday when it gets uploaded to Netlifx haha.

It's fun. I don't care too much about the murder anymore. I wanna know:

- Will ppl still recognize Veronica without pearls?
- When is Archie gonna stop being a fuck boi?
- Why does Riverdale have so many redheads?

These are the questions I need answered.

Just watched the latest two episodes and I gotta say Archie's bigger involvement with the war between the Lodges, Coopers and Blossoms is a pleasant surprise. He is an idiot still, but I get a lot of entertainment from his lack of foresight.

And Alice's turn from complete monster to an actual human being caught me by surprise. You can still tell there's a little bit of her old self when she threw that brick tho

Alice is a person with good intentions and the worst fucking actions. I think she genuinely loves her daughters more than anything and has no idea how to raise them beyond terrifying and unstable actions. It's fantastic to watch.

Fred seems to be the only truly decent parent. Hermione could go either way which is probably her arc when Hiram gets out. Kevin's dad might actually be a good parent but he seems to be a pretty poor cop.
