the more optimal version of this is:

Went back to Asuka for the time being. I also tried to do electrics for the first time tonight. I got it a single time on my first try or so and then never again for the next 30 minutes. RIP

i can't believe the kazuya I fought tonight hit me with three in a row in a juggle combo.

Managed to Platinum this in the span of a few days.

The hardest two were first ranked match, just for connecting with a another player.

The other, winning three special matches in Treasure Battle. Kazumi was a pain, but Heihachi wasn't.

Anyone here having an issue on the PC version where keyboard input will just randomly stop mid fight? There seems to be a bunch of people in the Steam forum with the problem. Makes the game completely unplayable on my arcade cabinet at the moment.

Is the player menu on the PC version bugged in player matches? I was in a lobby and I needed to leave after one of my fights. The screen says to press Y to pull up the menu (I'm using an Xbox 360 SFxT arcade stick) but it would not pull up at all while in the lobby or spectating. I kept tapping on all of the keys on the keyboard too and I could not find a way to leave.

I finally was able to exit out once it became my turn to fight again and I had to confirm my participation. I felt like a jerk but I had to leave like two fights ago. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I think its a oversight in design atm. Basically the only time you can get out through menus is while people are waiting to confirm the next fight. Once they're locked in, everyone is. Kinda lame.

Don't forget that Jin was actually a time released character in the arcade version of Tekken 4, so he wasn't even there at the start. He only started dominating the promo materials for the console version

Does Katarina hold up at higher levels of play? Her *mash one button* combos are doing great for me, but I feel like a lot of her moves are pretty slow.

Those juggles don't hold up at high level, you'd need to learn proper ones, but you can play any character competitively if you want. You've got a long way to go, there's really no need to worry about tiers.

GGs! Was nice to actually get some consistent fights for once. I really need to work on my juggles. Its so hard with Steve though because he doesnt have any reliable launchers so I gotta hope for counter hits and I can never get the timing right for juggles lol

Holy shit, the Brooks converter I use to play Tekken 7 on PC with my PS2 controller has gone haywire. It causes the main menu to run at 15fps while repeatedly telling me to press start on the controller. I unplug the converter and everything goes back to normal. The converter still works on PS4 but I been playing the game on PC.

Anyone out there with similar issues with their controller converters?

GG. Yeah Steve is tough I actually have been wanting to play him for months then I spent some time in training mode and I couldn't do the stance chances mid combo and I decided to try someone else. So far lili seems good for me with some easy juggles I just need to stop spamming rage arts :p

Just beat the Special Chapter with 10 Stars KITIF Difficulty. Took 1 try after warming up on the 5 STAR. After you beat it you get a special title plate too.

You mean WS2, 3?

If so, they nerfed it back to Tekken 6 style where he only gets a very hard to time f, f+3 after it. You might also get something with Rage Drive too, but I haven't tested.

Yikes that sounds... Difficult. Normal mode was a nightmare. I can't imagine the hardest setting.

it was easier to do in tag 2 since bound kept the opponent's body closer to you in juggles.

Now in T7 with the screw system, you gotta dash forward a bit which makes it very easy to accidentally do wr3 instead of f3 :\

It's ridiculous and his health regenerates as well. I'm not sure how I did it but I did. I had all the luck in the world. I'd say if you wanna try it then do the 5 star and immediately after beating that, then switch to 10. Just treat it like the 5.

And the title says "Master of the Iron Fist."

Really enjoying tournament mode, ecen if I'm usually cannonfodder (boy do I suck at Tekken). Watching others can be fun as well though. Just wish the game had a betting feature or something to give the people that already lost an incentive to stay.



Btw anyone hace a good resource on Akuma? I'm trying to learn movement and stuff first but knowing some good combos probably wouldn't hurt. A big problem for me right now is my opponents just outdamage me when they get an opening due to me not really knowing combos outside of traditional SF stuff.
