Environmental kills count a lot.
Also depends on how much health the enemies you killed as S76 had.
Environmental and Objective plays are weighted very, very highly.

Yep, that's why sometimes you see a Lucio or Pharah get POTG with like one environmental kill and almost nothing else. It's irritating when I had just rezzed 3-4 people on the point and don't get POTG when it literally wins the match for us. :|
Yep, I've realized that to preserve my sanity sometimes it's necessary to just not go into team chat. When I play with a friend or two sometimes even then we stay. Toxic and annoying people aside, sometimes people have mics that cause everyone to echo or other ridiculous shit.

I wish the recording caught the res fail first round, it was quite possibly the dumbest thing I have seen in ages.
Like 2 or 3 of us down, he panics and tells our tanks to die, they tell him to fuck off and raise us because they are good, he waits so long the res only catches one of us and they die because he hid for so long

I don't understand people listening to music while playing, auido cues are so crucial on this game.
Just make sure the in game sound is higher or you have headphones on so you can hear the game louder then the music and your fine
I would be more tilted if I'm just sitting in silence hearing my team getting steamrolled on 66

It's not bad if it's lower volume than sounds. Some people don't care for the game music. A lot of pros and streamers play other music when they're playing. Personally, I find listening to music while I play distracting.

If people are only getting Defensive/Offensive Assist cards with Zen, it means they don't know how to use Transcendence correctly.

I never get Transcendence cards, but almost always get an Off Assists card. I only use my Ult to counteract enemy ults though, so I guess that's to be expected.
Should I be using Zen ult differently? I tend to solo heal a lot.

Solo-healing with Zen is a guaranteed Transcendence card. It's the only way to do any burst healing. If you're solo-healing, you can build it fast enough to not have to save it only for enemy offensive Ults.
I mean, you're not gonna get it if you're healing 5 DPS, but if you have 2 Tanks, Trance is gonna heal for a ton.

I play in Gold, so I'm lucky if I have one tank, let alone two. DPS is the name of the game, and they love to spread out. I'll keep it in mind, though, since I obviously have a blind spot there.

I do okay with it, win %-wise, but there's not much of a choice really. No one else wants to heal, I hate playing Mercy, I can't snipe- so Ana is out, and Lucio is... Lucio.
People demand Mercy sometimes, but I just ask them to play Mercy alongside me if they do.
No one ever takes me up on it.

I don't like playing solo healer Zen. Sometimes I'm forced and I try, because I don't like playing Mercy. If I die a few teams and spammed "I need healing" a few times without success, I switch to an offense and most of the time somebody will go solo Mercy after that because they understand I won't.
