No one is arguing that. WWE is better now than it was a few years ago, but it's still vastly underperforming, especially compared to the level of talent they have.
But watching something that you know you're gonna hate just so you can complain about it seems dumb to me. Like that Emoji Movie is terrible and is getting railed for it. So I'm not gonna go watch it just so I can come back and be like "wow guys, that sucked and made me angry".
I mean people can do what they want. That's fine.
I just personally think it's dumb when there are so many better options that are more readily available than they've ever been. Why would you willingly watch something you know you're gonna hate? And not even in an entertaining way. Most people just seem angry or pissed off at WWE when they complain about it.

I watch WWE, Progress and NJPW. I'm not hate watching WWE, I still enjoy a bunch of the wrestlers and some of the current stories. I just want to see them right the ship a bit and be better. I actually enjoy Roman and don't just shit on him because it's easy.
Just because I think #5Years is plausible doesn't mean I hate watch.

I like their Friday night shows most of the time when I happen to catch them. From an in-ring perspective at least.

She's protected because they're filming a movie about her currently. The women's roster cuts I expect are Emma, Summer Rae, and Eva Marie (I believe she's still on the roster technically?)

I mean. It's not bad, they probably have one of the most talented rosters out there but I feel like if you've seen it a couple of weeks or months in a row you've probably seen all there is to see. It lacks a certain clear direction imo.

Any updates on Shibata lately? Last I heard was mid June when they had to remove a second portion of his skull to relieve swelling on his brain. Dude keeps saying he'll be back but god damn he shouldn't. Not the way he rolls. He lives to see how tough he is and wants it to be full contact. His body can't take what he wants even if he's tough enough to bear the pain and keep goin his body is just gonna drop dead in the ring at this rate.
I miss him, and wish he had never had to leave the ring but it is what it is now. All I hope to hear is that he regains his hearing and sight on that side and that he is okay.

I'm always behind so I avoid the G1 thread so I don't get spoiled. I'd like to discuss it but it's no big deal.
And as long as WWE is fucking shit, I will continue to fucking shit on them especially when this incredible alternative exists that shits on it in every conceivable way yet has only 5% of the audience it has.
No one is cares about japanese name 4 and japanese name 6. But as you're proving right now, bringing up the big, popular names and shooting them down? That's what gets the attention, that's what gets the discussion, and hopefully, that's what will get people to check out the less popular alternative.

Hey wrestleGAF, first time posting here I believe. My friend just signed up for NJPW and I'm heading over to his place soon to watch some of this G1 thang. I know almost nothing about any of the wrestles there outside of Kenny Omega and Okada. Any particular matches/people I should be watching out for?

I have the most posts in the G1 thread. I watch that shit religiously. My top 5 are from NJPW. There are a good number of folks who do too. I talk about NJPW more than you do.

I don't get how some of you decide what shit to get hung up on. Honestly, why is the AJ / KO end match change so interesting that we beat it with a drum riddled with unverified information for days on straight since the ppv? why is that interesting?
