What is the G1?

The greatest tournament in pro wrestling, with the winner getting to challenge for the IWGP Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 11. Over of month, you witness some of the greatest pro wrestling matches not only of the year but of all time.

How does it work?
The G1 held as a round-robin, with winners from two blocks wrestling in the final to decide that year's winner. The winner of each block is determined by a points system; two points for a victory, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.

I can't wait for Naito to bring out his absolute heel best in this.

First day was great. I liked Tenzan vs Ishii, crowd was hype for Tenzan. Main event was really good. I thought Marufuji looked great.

finally finish day 1 , and boy was it fantastic. the only average match was tongo vs makabe, the Fale vs Goto was good, while the rest were fantastic.

I'd like to see Marufuji win but I guess it's not to be.
