Yeah, the premise has changed up over time apparently, though the sister does appear from what I understand. Either way, glad to finally get a continuation. The first movie borrowed a fair bit from an Unsolved Mysteries episode, but it was really creepy and well done. Second movie, I was rooting for the Creeper.

And yeah, the director definitely got off easy. Hollywood is weird.

Yeah I don't know if I can go back and watch these movies now. definitely won't be watching the third one. I don't understand why this guy would ever get to direct a movie and be given a position of power again. Why not get a different record for the third one.

It's unfortunate that Clownhouse has one of the most disgusting histories behind it (seriously fuck Victor Salva), because that movie is actually creepy and scary. Thr imagery chills me. It's a great little horror movie.

It seems to be a controversial idea on GAF, but pedophiles aren't necessarily evil, and the common thinking that they are is what is preventing so many of them from seeking help, because what would people think of them? Pedophilia is a mental disorder. The director did something terrible 30 years ago, pleaded guilty, did his time in prison, completed his parole 25 years ago, and, as far as we know, hasn't done anything since. In a case like this, I do think it's too bad so many people don't think he's worth giving a second chance to. I understand why, but I don't think he's a monster.
