Which remind me, what one should you start watching on Patlabor series. I have the entire series on Blu-ray and wonder which to start.

I'm a believer in watching the Patlabor on Television series first and the Patlabor The New Files OVA after before going onto the movie time-line which is Patlabor The Early Days OVA and then the movies.

A few people here however argued that ending with the movies was a "downer". My thought process was that by watching the TV series first you'd be attached to the cast and characters before finishing with the films.

Anyway, Dive 7

Everyone must know about this.

I'm actually enjoying this know, as I said last episode, characters are developing, even secondary characters are not static pieces.

Too bad the beginning is really boring and the show is kinda ugly in general, so even the target audience ignored this anime.

I heard Fly being performed. Didn't think they'd keep that song. And they don't need to since I've heard that way too many times. Maya has the right idea that her charisma can solve just about anything, but even she needs some tact when invading someone's personal space. So instead of flat out cutting episodes, which is difficult when there's so much plot, this time they're being spliced together. I'm not going to sit down and figure out how this has been stitched, but I'm sure someone will. Spade was a badass on her home planet. Too bad she can't display the same vigor anymore. The baby hellspawn's name is... Dina. Sure, why not. Blonde Creeper is now Johnny Creeper. Rachel continues to be best DokiDoki.

Oh wow, the Aria Kickstarter really did add the second season as a stretch goal - although it's in two parts instead of one.
That's surprising. Maybe they saw how Kicktraq was trending and tacked them on. Gonna add some more to my pledge and hope for the best.

I've watched the Patlabor movies numerous times, I really should get around to watching the OVA and TV series at some point. May do that after I finish YUA.

Minami-ke Okawari - 02

Not sure what to generally think about the different art direction and character design (Haruka got reddish eyes now? okay...) but the decision to simply turn all unimportant characters' faces and limbs into one shade of black is absolutely dreadful. If it were a couple crowd shots or far away background characters sometimes, fine, but this looks awful.

Maria stuff was nice but overlong noise fights have been done to death and represent the worst part of the franchise. It's like watching someone else play a musou game rather than being any sort of engaging.

10. I think they skipped one of the Maya, Force of Nature episodes. Well we have to lose even more compared to last season, and that one wasn't particularly good. Reina's name is... Nelly Naughty. Seriously? Clara kept Yotsuba as her last name interestingly. I remember being annoyed that we didn't get much of her perspective this episode, and my feelings remain the same here. Of course we need the entrance of this season's star, Regina. Who has been changed to... Regina. I'll never understand the logic of why some things are changed and others aren't.

Lolololol. They skipped the card episode for Rachel and glossed over getting that crystal in a spelling bee. It'd be hilarious if it didn't mean missing a decent episode. Ah Snow White. Makes me wonder how Glitter Force will handle next season's Snow White. The mediocre acting part got through at least. And thanks to skipped episodes they get a new upgrade literally two episodes after the last one. I thought Suite was the rapid-fire upgrade season.

18if Episode 6

Exorcism part was fun. , though they could have shortened the first half of the episode and made the resolution a bit longer, it felt like it came way too late into the episode that her changed seemed to happen way too easy to be believable, sure Haruto is charming and lovely and attractive and perfect boyfriend material, but to make her change that fast? Unreal.

Shutting down a underground fight ring led to a pretty rough day for Kondo. Assassins everywhere! Katsura rolling up on the back of a truck out of nowhere to avenge Elizabeth was great.

This is moving way too fast. It's getting really obvious that they're just cramming episodes together, and it's hurting the pace, giving little time to breathe. Two full fights, Regina pinballing back to evil, Johnny's action intro, exposition, all in a single episode. It's not well put together. The train Distain going "I think I can" was funny though.

Dive Episode 7

Ryo plot has been my favorite plot of this, I wish he would talk to Tomoki sometime or something, make their friendship better, he just basically fled as he's writing himself out the plot :(

Yoichi Tomo scene was beautiful especially when the rain parted and revealed the sun as Tomo finally embraced the outcome, and also Yoichi earnest feelings. More.

Mess. I'm not the biggest fan of the original, but rushing it does not help at all. Everything is so crammed together that Maya and Regina are the only ones with any development, with a bit of Mackenzie on the side. Everyone else loses what precious screen-time they could muster. Nothing can be done to remedy the issue that Heart is really the only one that matters. Whoever she's interested is who is important. She walks in, gets her girlfriends, and saves the day because she's just the best. The plot is holding itself together, but not very well. Bad music weakens any impact there could be. King Baddie somehow turned into a joke (Do you want a cookie!) The comedy is alright sometimes, but it doesn't work when it's supposed to be serious.

What worked for Smile isn't going to work for DokiDoki. It's not godawful. Overall it's still an okay watch if you want magical girls fighting evil. But the flaws of both the original and the dub are very apparent. Last season cut 8 episodes, and that was bad, but not too harmful in an episodic season. Cutting even more episodes with more plot to cover? What a bright idea. I don't know how these contracts are made, but Toei really shouldn't be letting so much be lost. The main hope is that most of the cut episodes were handled in the first half, so the more convoluted second half can breathe. If that only has 15 episodes too? Well maybe it will be an entertaining disaster.

Shingeki no Bahamut : VS ep 18

Fuck, I miss this show. 2 weeks of it's absence is torturing.

This show show alot of love.

Boy girl love
Bro love
Potential boy love with a side of interspecies. Yeah, Mugaro looks at Azazel is beyond more than a savior.

We're losing a total of 18 episodes.

That hope shouldn't exist in the first place.

Oh, just out then.

Best of luck. Doubling the current 120k ro 240k seems like a hard ask, but then I dont know what backing behaviour is like over time and after initial goals are reached, especially for anime.

Is S2 better regarded than S1?

I think they had a season 4 which had like 22 episodes listed.

Wouldn't season 4 be the second half of DokiDoki?

You know, in an ideal world 40 episodes for Happiness Charge might not be so bad. Most of it was pretty good, so keep that intact. The compress the last 10 or so episodes together as much as possible, because there's no salvaging that garbage, so you might as well let the finale take the fall. Too bad it wouldn't work out like that. Go Princess will probably be the first chance we get for everything to make it over.

First post. Been following thread a long time. Need recommendations 😁. Huge UC gundam fan. Favorite manga is Genshiken original cast and i follow One Piece. Just got caught up on re:creators. Following knights and magic and otherworldly restaurant and MHA this season. Just looking for a good watch, wondering if I should jump into Made in the Abyss. Just watched Grimoire of Zero, wasnt bad. Not really offended by anything. Also enjoyed Danmachi, is Sword of Oratoria worth a watch? My view time is limited otherwise I'd just watch a bit of everything. Also big HxH fan and Welcome to the NHK holds a special place in my heart. Any recommendations would be much appreciated, I have crunchyroll and amazon strike.
Thanks!

Try watching

Barakamon (really funny and a heartwarming sol. Few slice of life shows have made me fall in love like this one.)
Kekkai sensen ( a extremely fun episodic show that has bits of story. Setting is like NYC and a great cast of characters.)
Kyousougiga ( a really colorful anime, but its really hard to explain)
Mob Psycho ( visually distinct show)
Code Breaker (really great action)
Code Geass ( a wild ride lol)
Rakugo ( a beautiful show that's truly a characterpiece)
91 Days ( HBO mafia)
D Frag (good comedy)

Also Gintama only if you can deal with a long running show. However, I can safely say its worth it and imo one of the best anime I have seen and enjoyed thoroughly.

Issue is that the trade mark was S3 and 4 and 30+22

that's 52. No Precure season has 52 episodes.

Love Danmachi but mainly for Bell amd Hestia, dunno if Oratoria is gonna fly with me..will take a look at D Frag too now Konosubas over

Watched a few episodes and thought about how long it took me to get caught up on One Piece and steered away. Might come back to Gintama when my kids start school and I get more time. Also love the avatar, P3 was my favorite in the series.

I suggest skipping Oratoria since it will most likely not be as enjoyable as Danmachi for you since it does not have Bell and Hestia.

Have you seen Noragami? It has some good action and its a good show.
