Can we get a large version of you avatar Opiate? Your personality combined with your avatar makes me question me sexuality.

I've posted pictures before, I believe, but I'm willing to again -- although I ask that people tone the sex talk down at least one notch, please.

Hello, GAF!

I made a "No carbs, no sugar in January" resolution, which was working great until I was offered chocolate chip waffles yesterday.

Me; no rice, soda and bread. I have a little bit of bread in the morning, but nothing to crazy(like a sandwich)Soda was the hardest to quit for me. Going two months clean as of next week :)

Hello, GAF!
You are hiding a horrible deformity on the other side of your face.

It's only fair.

Hello, GAF!

Not trying to creep, but these two are just the kind of shots I've been using/like for my drawing warm-ups. Thanks. :)

Hello, GAF!
Don't mean to offend, but god you're so hot. I'm serious. I don't know, but i've always loved that 'look' of swedish/german looking men. Big man crush on several folks in here, GAF really is beautiful.
inside and out :p
PS. Is it weird that I love women and everything about them, but can appreciate the beauty in certain men? Nothing sexual, just find myself saying 'handsome' at certain men in my head sometimes.

Hope that's not weird...
Damn, you remind me a lot of Ziggy from The Wire.
Oh god, even I think I kinda look like him. Don't watch the wire but I know who you're talking about. Will be watching soon (first timer) and this is gonna be kinda weird, lol.

I concur.

RealPic, I'm bummed. My wife and daughter were supposed to come home tonight - they are in CO, on business - but my daughter started vomiting on the way to the airport...now she's running a fever, too, so they are stuck in Denver at least 'til tomorrow. =/

This thread has given me such a great outlet for whining. It'll never stop, now.

That's not weird, it's actually probably pretty healthy from a larger point of view.

Thanks. I can't ever see myself saying it aloud/admitting to someone, unless they're a really close friend.

I mean, i'm one to sort of shudder if a picture of two men making out catches me off guard (sorry? fellow gay gaffers), but I still find certain guys particularly handsome.

With women though I think it's more normal, my female friends always say 'oh she's beautiful' etc etc, but it's just sort of a cultural thing with men I suppose..

Maybe not weird, but prob something he should keep to himself when a mod specifically asks him to tone it down.
Sorry about that, thought it would be alright since I didn't mean it in a sexual way in all seriousness, hope I didn't offend him or anyone else for that matter.

Oh no! I hope she gets better quickly :<

Not in public around other guys. At work I've been called a "homo" or have been given that awkward look for saying Matt Damon is hot.

This is why I said a larger point of view!

Speaking on a societal scale, yeah, you probably don't want to mention that around your friends.

One fun aspect of masculine socialization is that, in person, we try to bust each other down for stuff like that. If I were watching Inception with friends, it would be way more acceptable to say "Damn, I'd love to do Ellen Page" than it would be to say "JGL looks really handsome in this film."

But he did.

<3 ellen page

The awkward looks are because Matt Damon isn't hot.

And yeah, society has made it so guys thinking/saying other guys are good looking is weird but girls saying the same thing about girls is obviously more normal and not frowned upon.

People in general can just be really attractive. No harm in recognizing it.

Thanks. It's bad timing, as I have my own weird freaky medical crap going on at the moment. My wife is actually considering leaving her with my in-laws and flying home tonight herself. Probably won't have any choice if she's still sick tomorrow. Ugh.

Billy, I can't tell if that looks tasty or not. I'm undecided.

Happy to. I have no skill whatsoever in the create arts, so this is the closest I'll ever get myself, frankly.

Thanks. I can't ever see myself saying it aloud/admitting to someone, unless they're a really close friend.

I would even go so far as to say the opposite is true: only people who are genuinely insecure about their sexuality would hesitate to admit another man is attractive. I am, personally, a very confidently heterosexual male. Saying another man is attractive does not make me suddenly question my understanding of my own sexuality.

Sorry about that, thought it would be alright since I didn't mean it in a sexual way in all seriousness, hope I didn't offend him or anyone else for that matter.

It's fine. Let's just try to steer the discussion in another direction if we could now, please. I just don't want to have to lock this thread.

Well said.

You're skating on thin ice, missy!

Ohh celebrity stories - I chit chatted with Tony Danza, carried Ted Nugents bags, and hung out in CeCe Deville's room with his wife.

You're right, it doesn't, but I know that it would make others question my own sexuality therein making me question myself. I'd say i'm a confident hetero as well, but I can 'see' what a bisexual may see in a man.

More not-too-famous-but-still-famous-for-nerds-celebrity stories.

Sir Terry Pratchett hit on me and then jokingly tried to buy weed from me.

Kevin Conroy has whispered my name in my ear in his Batman voice.
